El presente proyecto de investigación con énfasis en comunicación aplicada tuvo como
objetivo crear espacios de comunicación alternativa para que los habitantes de los barrios
aledaños a la casa de la cultura de Tunjuelito identificarán que el arte del break dance sí es un
proyecto de vida que transforma la manera de pensar de los jóvenes y de las personas que
habitan un barrio o localidad, lo cual se logró a través del trabajo comunitario con las personas,
quienes fueron los actores principales de la ejecución del proyecto, ya que se pretendía que tanto
los jóvenes como sus padres comprendieran como el arte urbano del break dance, el grafiti, el DJ
y el rap, son factores que inciden en la vida de los jóvenes para fomentar que ellos tengan un
proyecto de vida. Además, entender que diferentes actividades y espacios de participación social
y expresión artística son herramientas que transforman la manera de pensar de los jóvenes.
Por ello, el trabajo se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cualitativo, el cual, a través de los
testimonios de jóvenes artistas, de líderes comunitarios, de integrantes de la Casa de la Cultura
de Tunjuelito y de las voces de la comunidad, buscó hacer una recopilación de cómo ellos
perciben este tipo de arte callejero en sus barrios, esto con el fin de cambiar o transformar las
percepciones negativas que tienen en torno a esto y, que finalmente logren evidenciar como son
medios o herramientas artísticas que sacan a los jóvenes de las calles para que ellos inviertan sus
tiempos libres en el desarrollo de un talento o de una actividad que los motive o apasione.
Abstract
The objective of this research project with an emphasis on Applied Communication was
to create alternative communication spaces so that the inhabitants of the neighborhoods
surrounding the Tunjuelito House of Culture will identify that the art of break dancing is a life
project that transforms the way of thinking of young people and people who live in a
neighborhood or town, which was achieved through community work with people, who were the
main actors in the execution of the project, since it was intended that both young people and
Their parents understand how the urban art of break dancing, graffiti, DJing and rap are factors
that influence the lives of young people to encourage them to have a life project. Furthermore,
understand that different activities and spaces for social participation and artistic expression are
tools that transform the way of thinking of young people.
Therefore, the work was developed under a qualitative approach, which aims to compile a
compilation of how. They perceive this type of street art in their neighborhoods, this in order to
change or transform the negative perceptions that they have around this and, finally, they are
able to show how they are artistic means or tools that take young people off the streets so that
they can Invest your free time in developing a talent or an activity that motivates or passions you.
