Abstract

The present report intends to make known the work carried out in the form of internship during the agreement established with the company HORMIGÒN URBANO S.A.S. And Santo Tomas University during the period from March 23 to June 24 of the current year, with a total of 600 hours meeting the proposed objectives between the student and the company, developing activities in which it was put To test the knowledge acquired during my academic life in the institution exercising the position of Engineering Assistant in charge of the system of quality management of concrete. The activities carried out in my work are based mainly on the quality control that is done to the concrete, through the regulatory tests stipulated in the Colombian Technical Standard (NTC), these tests are carried out to obtain a record in the quality control Of the concrete, among which are the settlement test stipulated in NTC 396 "Testing of concrete settlement", then the concrete cylinders are elaborated through the guidance of the standard NTC 550 "Elaboration and curing of concrete specimens on site "In order to perform the compressive strength test carried out in the CONTECON URBAN laboratory, the data administered by the laboratory were analyzed to identify if there was any problem in the curing of the specimens by carrying a control which is sent every 8 Give with the respective analysis to the quality department of the company HORMIGÒN HURBANO S.A.S. The process of monitoring the quality of the concrete allows to verify to the plant that the concrete dispatched to the work complies with the minimum requirements of elaboration, transport and supply.
