Pasantía apoyo técnico a la supervisión e interventoría en el mantenimiento, recuperación de la malla vial por parte de la Secretaria de Infraestructura de la ciudad de Tunja - Boyacá

Abstract

The development of the internship was carried out the city of Tunja-Boyacá, during a period of 4 months in the Infrastructure Secretary of the Municipality of Tunja. During this time, the student’s skills in the pavement and road geotechnics competition were tested. Performing in different tasks, among which stand out: Construction supervision of works, review of previous documents, laboratory test and preparation of weekly reports. These activities allowed the public entity to make decision in the management of resources and the execution of projects. Always attending to the needs of the population to promote social and economic development. It was established that the road network of the city of Tunja is in poor condition, due to a lack of maintenance, which prevents a constant vehicular flow, comfort and social well-being. Despite the fact that the mayor’s office has managed projects for the adaptation of the roads. Pathways with severe pathologies such as subsidence, potholes, surface wear, fissures and among others are stills observed. This experience brought new knowledge to the intern allowing him to expand his capabilities. In addition, giving an accurate vision of the decisions and controls that must be executed in a timely manner on site. Additionally, through the internship, it is possible to know and evaluate the important role that it has as a interventory and supervisory entity, since its actions are in favor of materializing the projects based on their labor competencies.
