Abstract

This report is presented as a professional practice made in the company Kuehne - Nagel Servicios SAS, where I work as an Intern for the Monitoring area (area responsible for the entire process of Post.billing for the Andean region and Central America, this area is created a few months ago and the objective of this is to generate greater efficiency in the approval of invoices issued to different customers and thus generate a better payment habit for the company. Opportunities for improvement have been identified in some processes that are handled in Excel or other tools of the office program, specifically for the system of uploading invoices through Flat file, this improvement proposal focuses on two important aspects, first, the automation of the file to decrease time in the elaboration that also allows greater accuracy in the information. The second approach is the reduction of human errors, since the file is so manual, it is very susceptible to human errors in its elaboration. By adopting the automation of the table, we obtain efficiency and effectiveness in the data required to upload to the audit system, thus a greater efficiency in the work of the monitoring area of the Knowledge Center.
