Resumen

Educando lo rural El municipio de Cañasgordas en el tiempo ha sido golpeado fuertemente por el conflicto armado colombiano, entre la guerrilla (Farc), los paramilitares (A.u.c) y el ejército, en los cuales se ha producido desplazamientos, muertes y retraso económico en el municipio. Hoy en dia, el panorama no es muy distinto, aunque el enfrentamiento armado es poco sigue habiendo presencia de paramilitares en el territorio y en cuanto a la economía su crecimiento sigue siendo muy lento, a esto se le suma el déficit educativo que el municipio tiene en temas como deserción escolar, mala infraestructura de los establecimientos educativos y la falta de oferta hacia la educación superior, por su parte los jóvenes que logran terminar sus estudios hasta el grado 11 se encuentran con una poca oferta de empleo formal lo que los obliga a buscar empleo en el sector agrícola. la economía del municipio está basada principalmente en la agricultura. Actualmente el municipio de Cañasgordas dentro de su actividad económica rural se dedica a los siguientes productos: • Cultivos permanentes: Banano, cacao, caña, panelera, café, limón, murrapo, plátano. • Cultivos transitorios: Frijol Arbustivo, maíz • Plantaciones forestales: Pino, eucalipto • Ganado: Lechero, doble propósito

Abstract

Educating the rural The municipality of Cañasgordas in time has been hit hard by the armed conflict Colombian, between the guerrilla (FARC), the paramilitaries (A.u.c) and the army, in which there have been displacements, deaths and economic backwardness in the municipality. Today, the picture is not very different, although the armed confrontation is little, there is still a presence of paramilitaries in the territory and in terms of the economy its growth is still very slow, this is compounded by the educational deficit that the municipality has on issues such as school dropout, poor infrastructure of the educational establishments and the lack of offer to higher education, meanwhile the young people who manage to finish their studies until grade 11 find themselves with a small offer of formal employment, which forces them to look for employment in the agricultural sector. the economy of the municipality is based mainly in agriculture. Currently the municipality of Cañasgordas within its rural economic activity is dedicated to the following products: • Permanent crops: Banana, cocoa, cane, panelera, coffee, lemon, murrapo, banana. • Transitory crops: Shrubby beans, corn • Forest plantations: Pine, eucalyptus • Livestock: Dairy, double purpose
