La presente reseña obedece a uno de los puntos centrales del tercer eje temático de la cátedra de Ética: La tensión entre el bien personal y el bien común; espacio en el cual se hace un hincapié a la ética aplicada y, dentro de esta, se encuentra “la Ética ambiental”, razón por la cual se presentó el evento: “La ética ambiental como camino para mitigar el calentamiento global”; esto, producto del tema central de la semana de las Humanidades: “El papel de las Humanidades en la construcción de una sostenibilidad social y ambiental”, que contó a su vez, para cierre de tan magno evento, con la intervención de la Magíster e Ingeniera ambiental, Ximena Aristizabal Clavijo, Consultora del Banco Mundial y experta en políticas de cambio climático, quien socializó el tema: “Calentamiento global. Una mirada desde los organismos multilaterales”. Esto último tuvo lugar el 23 de octubre de 2020.
Abstract
This review responds to one of the central points of the third thematic axis of the Chair of Ethics: The tension between the personal good and the common good; space in which an emphasis is placed on applied ethics and, within this, is "Environmental Ethics", which is why the event was presented: "Environmental ethics as a way to mitigate global warming"; This, product of the central theme of the Humanities week: "The role of the Humanities in the construction of social and environmental sustainability", which in turn counted, for the closing of such a great event, with the intervention of the Master and Environmental engineer, Ximena Aristizabal Clavijo, World Bank Consultant and expert in climate change policies, who socialized the topic: “Global warming. A look from multilateral organizations ”. The latter took place on October 23, 2020.
