Abstract

The complex and dynamic nature of university life, which revolves around everyday around master classes, forums, seminars, talks, library consultations, knowledge assessment and others, implies in each of these activities the academic component that, in the particular case of the Santo Tomás University, given its pedagogical model, assumes reality and articulates its action from problems. In them students and teachers, identifying aspects that can be investigated and that one and the other they resume to the extent that they are important for their work and for their own professional horizon. In this perspective, the efforts that the institutions of higher education in the field of research reflection and practice does not respond exclusively to the character of obligation conferred on the investigation from the official levels of quality control of the education, but precisely because they are clear about the horizon they want to give their entity in the local and global context, so that action orientation investigation of the daily event, plus a necessary degree of formalization and institutional commitment.
