Diagnostico empresarial de productividad en Business Chain S.A.S.

Abstract

This work is carried out in Business Chain SAS which is a Santanderean company in the Metalworking sector where it is required to develop an organizational culture through continuous improvement methodologies such as Value Steam Map (VSM), Lean Six Sigma, 5's that allow identifying the factors improvement in the production process, in order to optimize the company's production processes, increasing the efficiency and capacity in the manufacture of the A3 aseptic cabin. This study mainly perceives the waste of time in activities that do not generate value, downtime or unspecified stoppage, bottlenecks, non-conforming products and late deliveries, thus impacting on financial expenses and lower income for the company. The implementation of this tool graphically visualizes the process from its beginning to its end, generating non-visible improvement opportunities with the purpose of improving them and increasing the installed capacity of the organization, finally a significant increase in its income.
