Abstract

The way the students of 11th grade of the school Gethsemane Integrated College of the municipality of Bucaramanga are being educated on respect for human rights is analyzed in this work; perceptions of teachers, parents and students of this institution on the social behavior of young people and their relationship to human rights for it are explored through interviews, curriculum and extracurricular activities of the students those practices related to human rights training are identified, each of those found categorizes perceptions and found the relationship between perceptions and activities that develop students set. The work shows that, although there are behaviors that show respect for human rights in school, there are many situations that are identified by the members of the educational community as contrary to those rights. At work some guidance on how they can be improved in this respect within the institution, starting with the preparation of teachers to know and apply these teaching strategies are presented.
