Producto Massive Online Open Courses (MOOC) Como herramienta para mejorar el índice de gestión ambiental en las entidades oficiales de la ciudad de Villavicencio

Abstract

The following work presents the development of a virtual MOOC, which aims for public and private entities to be able to visualize the evolution of Environmental Management, and according to the analysis they can establish strategies and methodologies that allow improving the Environmental Management index . For this, the MASSIVE ONLINE OPEN COURSES (MOOC) product is shown, made up of 6 modules with the following information: Module 1 contains an introduction that shows the problematic reality of excessive consumption of natural resources, followed by Module 2 establishes the objectives, the justification and the scope of this product. In Module 3 there is a visual representation of the current situation of Environmental Management in the public entities of Villavicencio through the ArcGis software. Module 4 provides a tool in the Excel software that will allow officials to observe the behavior of environmental management in their company over the years, recording the information requested in it. Module 5 explains the methodology for the analysis of the graphs generated by the tool. Finally, in Module 6, pertinent clarifications are made regarding the product and thanks are offered to all those who accompanied the process. The results made it possible to identify the environmental aspects that have the greatest incidence within the entities, being the consumption of electrical energy, the consumption of water resources and the generation of solid waste the most representative. Therefore, it is concluded that the implementation of this product within the entities could generate great benefits in environmental matters and the necessary tools for correct decision-making.
