This process of social appropriation consisted of the demonstration of an atmospheric kit called Water Report (RAGUA). RAGUA is a package of educational tools to measure the "water pulse"; which allows in a domestic way to know some of the events, periods, phenomena, frequencies, levels, times, numbers of water in the hydro-social cycle for climate change, in the amphibious habitat dwellings of the Gulf of Urabá, through a citizen science exercise with children and guardians of the Bocas del Atrato - Antioquia district.

This process of social appropriation consisted of socialization, dialogue, interaction, and the application of practical tools with the young participants from the district of Bocas del Atrato in Antioquia, aimed at raising awareness among students and the community about the possibility of a project adapted to flood conditions through three models: Stilt Type, Floating Type, and Navigable Type. At the end of the event, the community chose the project they identified with the most.

The application of the "Transformative Actions" methodology is proposed to carry out the formulation and structuring of collective project research with the inhabitants of Bocas del Atrato, as a priority intervention of an ecotourism facility, formulated by the PDET and incorporated into the Plan of Development of the municipality of Turbo. The applied research project includes understanding the effects of variability and climate change on the territory and its inhabitants; the record of use of vernacular materials and techniques in the region; construction practices; the knowledge and trades of the participating group of settlers (Phase I of Recognition). Prepares, together with the community, students, teachers and professionals, the designs of an infrastructure (Phase II of Design) and the subsequent construction with the labor of members of the community (Phase III of Work) with the corresponding training in construction techniques appropriate. Finally, the permanent feedback of the learning, as well as the respective documentation of the investigative and training process of all the parties involved, the dissemination and replication of the methodology and the results of its implementation.

The project seeks to solve a need for the inhabitants of the Villa Javier Residential Unit in the municipality of Andes, Antioquia; which is part of the Priority Interest Housing program advanced by the Government and whose main characteristic is the 100% housing subsidy. This state program did not build, in any of the Units, complementary spaces for the community, a fundamental issue when it comes to collective housing. The need for this space is evident in the fact that the inhabitants themselves have built a space for it, but without any architectural consideration, which puts the integrity of the community at risk, in addition to not having any quality standard. It is then proposed to provide this population with an architectural project that has the appropriate characteristics for it, in which the best technical, environmental and economic alternatives will be explored; to improve the quality of life of the residents of that Unit.

The usual academic passing of project workshop 6 took an interesting turn due to the pandemic situation that forced a global confinement, this situation revealed with greater force the great concerns about housing that were already on the academic agenda of the architecture training. The 6th Workshop has as its main objective the development of collective housing projects inserted in the processes of configuration of the compact and open city, where the different forms of living are explored through experimentation and innovation of the types and typologies of housing , as well as its different support systems (programmatic articulation, structure, materials, language). In the framework of the development of the workshop, it is intended that the student approaches the subject of habitat from the reality of our cities in order to establish the criteria Clear plans to contribute to the development of current collective housing, within the framework of their professional practice and Academic. The 1inUNO WORKSHOP is a course of the first semester of the undergraduate architecture in the Santo Tomás University, Medellín campus, whose objective revolves around the foundation in composition topics aimed at new students. It is the academic space corresponding to the project workshop but with a different nuance: the structuring and materialization of ideas through a pedagogical practice that poses new challenges and reflections on the traditional way of teaching architecture, starting from reality as a means of approach, conceptualization and materialization of the architectural idea with a high ethical, technical and poetic commitment from the institution to its students and from them to society. This is the third version of the workshop (in the first 2018-1 3 exhibition pavilions were designed and built for the Medellín Design Week; in the second 2018-2 2 prototypes of furniture were designed and built for the exterior areas of the ALTIUS project) , and for this version, in an effort to articulate the three substantive functions of the Institution and positively impact a community, it was decided to bring the exercise to the Villa Flor Urbanization in the municipality of Algeria under the theme of “shadow spaces and urban furniture ”that contribute to improving the quality of the urban space and the habitability of the place.

Study of surface movement of a shallow-multilayered soil under P-waves

In this work it was designed and implemented an experimental setup to study the surface acceleration of a multilayered soil and the experimental measurements were contrasted with a one-dimensional theoretical model based on ray tracing. For this purpose, a soil was suited, where tiles and expanded polystyrene (EPS) slabs were buried. This soil was disturbed by a sound wave at normal incidence from a subwoofer. In experiment were obtained resonance frequencies which are according to the studied theoretical model.

Espectro de Lyapunov de un oscilador Colpitts en base común

The current abstract presents both, the definition of Lyapunov exponents applied to an autonomous nonlinear time-continuous system, and a recommended technique to measure such set of exponents (spectrum) with the aim of detecting limit or chaotic cycles in a BJT transistor based Colpitts oscillator circuit. Starting from the Ebers- Möll model-based BJT transistor, the state equations that rule the circuit were presented; then, a numerical case of study was adopted and through a mathematical simulating program, the proposed methodology was applied in order to determine Lyapunov spectrum of oscillators. The outcomes obtained evidenced the existence of chaos for some sets of values of the parameters of the circuit

In the present work, the feasibility of implementing the XBee technology in wireless accelerometric sensors (WAS) development for sensing of elastic waves on soils surface is analyzed. The incidence of distance and obstacles between a coordinator and end-device pair in their radio link by examining the number of packets received successfully was verified. Additionally, it was investigated the influence of the transmission rate over the sampling frequency of signals associated to mechanical vibrations from a testing ground by measuring the effective sampling periods of the "A / D Conversion - Transmission" process. The data reception errors introduced by the channel attenuation and the presence of obstacles, impose severe restrictions on the maximum allowable distance between the communication modules. The transmission rate features provided by XBee technology in association with the A / D time sampling of the microcontroller, allow to carry out recordings to a maximum sampling frequency of 1 kHz , useful for real-time applications where seismic signals are into the spectral range 0 to 500 Hz. In order to increase the sampling frequency of the sensor for prospection applications with signals with bandwidths greater than 500 Hz , it was successfully tested a prototype that uses a fast external memory for storing data, which significantly improves the sampling signal allowing to retake XBee technology due to its excellent low consumption features.
