Ítem Análisis de la Salud Mental post pandemia de los estudiantes de pregrado entre 16 y 24 años de la Universidad Santo Tomás Tunja(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2025-01-29) Gómez Castillo, Lida Esperanza; Peralta Rodríguez, Brígida Mireya; García Pacheco, Nancy PatriciaThis research analyzed the mental health status of undergraduate students aged between 16 and 24 years at Universidad Santo Tomás Tunja campus, during the post-COVID-19 pandemic period. The pandemic presented significant challenges for this population at a crucial stage of personal and academic development. The methodology employed involved document review and the application of a questionnaire to 348 students to assess the impact of the pandemic on the students' mental health. The results indicated that approximately 44.4% (154) of students experienced high levels of hopelessness, 50% (174) reported feelings that life was not worth living, and 37% (128) had thoughts about the possibility of "disappearing." Additionally, 46% (160) of respondents mentioned an increase in stress during the post-pandemic period. Most (92%) did not seek support for their mental health, although 64% used the resources provided by the university, which were rated as effective or very effective by 54% of users. The pandemic significantly impacted students' study routines, with 48% reporting an increase in workload, 24% mentioning difficulties concentrating, and 31% experiencing a shift to online education. Proposals to improve mental health support include organizing talks and conferences (12 mentions), expanding mental health services on campus (4 mentions), and promoting self-care practices (9 mentions), among others. This research contributes to designing strategies to promote emotional well-being and academic performance among students. The findings enrich the understanding of mental health in the post-pandemic context and can help improve the quality of life for university students. From this premise, the general objective was focused on proposing the design of a unified user management system focused on guaranteeing communication channels and effective access to health services in areas of high rurality for the Province. For this purpose, a quantitative correlational research was developed to determine the quality and relevance of access to health services in the region selected for the study, following up from the Empresa Social del Estado Hospital San Vicente de Ramiriquí. Thus, through the application of research instruments, significant limitations were identified in terms of effective access to the channels provided by the EPSs to carry out administrative procedures, manage requests and guide the population's needs, which indicates not only the persistence of barriers but also their link with socioeconomic and geographic accessibility conditioning factors. The results found allow concluding that there is a need of the user population for the Entities Responsible for Health Insurance to take care of guaranteeing the integral risk management of their affiliates, which requires a transformation in the systems in place to achieve improvements in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, access, timeliness and comprehensiveness.Ítem Propuesta para la apertura de consulta de especialidades médicas en la modalidad de telemedi-3.(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2023-10-06) Carolina Morales, Diana; Morales, Diana Carolina; Universidad Santo Tomás TunjaThe development of this degree work focuses on characterizing the comprehensive care routes of the E.S.E Hospital Sagrado Corazón de Jesús de Socha as a provider of the primary health service of the Sochana community, taking special emphasis on the possibilities of providing the telemedicine service, specialized and its operation, analyzing the referrals to medical specialties derived from the care of users, to identify the main needs for outpatient services and establish the demand for telemedicine evidenced by the organization, all of the above in order to design a opening of an outpatient consultation service for medical specialties in the telemedicine modality with its respective technical and operational definition. Thus, this thesis focuses on proposing a project to open an outpatient consultation service for medical specialties in the telemedicine modality at the E.S.E Hospital Sagrado Corazón de Jesús de Socha (Boyacá - Colombia) to contribute to the institution in terms of accessibility, opportunity and continuity in care in specialized medicine. The research methodology had a qualitative approach, which according to Macías (2006) seeks to obtain an inductive understanding, carried out from a holistic perspective, since it considers each study phenomenon as a whole. This type of methodological approach is a phenomenon of generalization and greater acceptance, that is, it is increasingly received given its epistemological and methodological proposal, for which, a good number of investigations find in their development an advantage in responding to the investigative and practical problems of the social sciences. The deployment of this document concludes by outlining the process of opening consultations for medical specialties in the telemedicine modality at the E.S.E Hospital Sagrado Corazón de Jesús of the Municipality of Socha, in accordance with current regulations through a process that guarantees quality in the care of efficiently, effectively and safely, achieving the satisfaction of patients' needs in less time. Keywords: Telemedicine, teleexpertise, outpatient consultation, health, service provision.Ítem ¿Cómo generar una cultura del ahorro para la vejez en los jóvenes de grado décimo y once de las instituciones educativas oficiales de la ciudad de Tunja?(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2023-07-10) Rios Saavedra, Sonia Yanira; Cely Avila, Oscar Argelio; Alvarez Burgos, Maria InesThis senior project is developed through five chapters that contemplate the following: Chapter 1. According to the records of the National Tuberculosis Program in Colombia, in more than a decade the highest burden of disease (60% of cases) has been reported in the departments of Antioquia, Valle, Santander, Meta, Tolima, Risaralda and Chocó and in the districts of Bogotá and Barranquilla. In Colombia, about 6% of the total number of detected cases are in children. However, it is necessary to indicate that Colombia has adopted and adapted the "STOP TB" strategy promulgated at the world level by the World Health Organization, proposing as objectives to reduce mortality, morbidity and transmission of the disease, which is intended to be done through the early detection of positive cases and the application of the TAS strategy (Supervised Short Course Treatment, or DOTS) and the "Stop TB" strategy which is a technical guideline through the document "Strategic Plan Colombia free of tuberculosis".
