Using research based on design science, the aim is to propose a diagnostic tool to evaluate knowledge management practices in the software and IT industry, given the economic and technological dynamics of these markets and its importance as a sector in Colombia's current economy, It is sought that through experts and case studies it is possible to build a tool that allows to respond to the problem of the identification, diagnosis and evaluation of knowledge management, thus allowing future applications to close important gaps and take advantage of all the capital and knowledge generated in the industry for their own benefit and that of society.spa
