The study stems from changes observed in radio stations due to the adoption of digital platforms, which have altered the ways information is produced, distributed, and consumed. It employed a qualitative approach involving 36 semi-structured interviews with journalists, educators, and communication students, complemented by a content and metrics analysis of 72 Facebook posts from three media outlets in Pasto managed by journalists with radio backgrounds. Data were organized through thematic coding based on four analytical categories and interpreted using actor triangulation and trend analysis. The results indicate that Facebook has established itself as a strategic space for disseminating journalistic content, fostering new multiplatform production dynamics, enhancing audience interaction, and leveraging metrics to guide editorial decisions. A transformation in journalists' work routines was identified; driven by the technological boom, they now take on multiple roles related to audiovisual production, social media management, and audience engagement. A documentary theatre performance was created in which data visualization was employed with two main intentions. The first was to explore and bring visibility to certain victimizing events of the armed conflict, such as forced displacement and enforced disappearance, establishing a dialogue between official history (collective history) and personal history (memories). The second was to represent statistical information through a poetic reflection that not only communicates the figures but also creates new possibilities for critical thinking around memory and history. Furthermore, this work constitutes a tribute to the victims and survivors of the Armero tragedy through a bodily cartography of memory, conceived as a choreography in which the body becomes territory, resistance, and a means of restoring dignity. As the outcome of this process, a potentially theoretical and significant concept emerged: poetic datavisuality, understood as an aesthetic and narrative practice involving the use of datasets, data cleaning, analysis, and visualization to transform them into poetic visual experiences capable of articulating information, sensitivity, and imagination.Tipo de ítem: Ítem , Análisis de las brechas digitales de niños, niñas y adolescentes en condición de vulnerabilidad en Arauca(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2026-09-21) Mora Santos, Marcos Ricardo; Torres Sanmiguel, Alexander; Universidad Santo Tomás; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0001403050; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0002512035; https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=j9S1ub0AAAAJ&hl=es&oi=ao; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1880-4352This research proposal focuses on narrowing the digital divide affecting vulnerable children and adolescents—including both Venezuelan migrants and the host population—in Arauca, Colombia. Since 2018, the massive influx of migrants has heightened barriers to accessing rights such as digital inclusion, technology, and digital training; this drastically limits educational opportunities, the holistic development of children, and the exercise of their rights. The project aims to implement data analysis and visualization—combining educational and communicative processes—as a key strategy to foster digital inclusion and overcome these structural societal barriers. To achieve this, digital gaps will be identified to encourage critical thinking and the responsible use of ICTs. Furthermore, the conceptual framework draws on the theories of Kaplún, Martín-Barbero, and Freire, highlighting the importance of transformative, inclusive, and participatory communication, cultural mediation, and critical, dialogic pedagogy. The ultimate goal is to analyze the situation of children and adolescents from vulnerable areas in Arauca who are part of Save the Children’s participation network, thereby enabling decision-makers to take future intervention measures to guarantee the rights of these individuals as subjects requiring special protection.
