Mobile Cognitive Radio Networks (MCRNs) enable dynamic spectrum access through the Cooperative Spectrum Sensing (CSS) technique; however, they present vulnerabilities to Spectrum Sensing Data Falsification (SSDF) attacks. Various studies have addressed this problem using machine learning techniques, trust models, and hybrid methods. This article presents the main results of a hybrid model that integrates Support Vector Machines (SVM), the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) algorithm, and a reputation system based on the Beta distribution to identify malicious users. Experimental validation using Software Defined Radio (SDR) demonstrates detection probabilities above 90%, a significant reduction in false alarms, and greater robustness under mobility conditions and low Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) values.

In Colombia, the mass passenger transportation systems of some main cities have articulated vehicles in their fleet, which travel from an origin to a specific destination. After they have finished their workday, these vehicles must be parked in a workshop yard in a small space. This action has been identified as repetitive and must be performed at a low speed. This is why, to reduce stress and fatigue to the drivers of these vehicles in the face of these monotonous events, this work describes a case study related to the optimal planning of the trajectory of an articulated vehicle, for which it has been taken as a reference the mass transportation system of the city of Barranquilla: Transmetro. The parking scenario (highest yard) has been recreated in MATLAB with their respective fixed obstacles: walls or other vehicles of equal dimensions. The trajectory from the initial point to the end has a high degree of complexity, which is why the required equality and inequality restrictions have been configured. To find the route, a multistage Model Predictive Controller (MPC) for nonlinear systems has been used, which recognizes these obstacles as collision objects. Random uncertainty has been added to the initial values of the initial position, in addition to modifying the relative weighting of its cost function that depends on the system inputs: the longitudinal speed and the angle of rotation, so that the simulation is carried out in Closed-Loop and thus its optimization will be ensured.

This document wants to show the state of art of the project “Design of a scale model for the extraction of avocado oil using a cavitation reactor” located at the Universidad Santo Tomas, a bibliographic analysis of studies already conducted and that have correlation with the extraction processes of avocado derivatives is presented, identifying the stages of the current process of the project with other processes and models, as well as characterizing the hydrocavitator, condenser and evaporator module with its current process variables, to identify the safety of the process and reduce the use of chemical solvents in the current process. There are several methods of avocado pulp or oil extraction, but these can be uneconomical and have high and complicated design levels. The method of extraction of avocado pulp and oil by means of the hydrocavitator, condenser and evaporator modules can present a simple agro-industrial potential, obtaining a product that is not exposed to chemicals, raising the nutritional value of the products obtained and adding value at the environmental level. In the food area, the hydrodynamic cavitation method is a clean and very useful technology. Currently the hydrocavitator, condenser and evaporator modules operate independently, the transfer of the product obtained in the hydrocavitator, which is a mixture of a solvent with the avocado fluid, is done manually, this phase of the process is risky because there is exposure to the fluid; after this phase the evaporation and condensation process is performed which is a process that does not have a suitable level of automation. Avocado products are showing an increase in national and international demand, so an economic, environmental and nutritional analysis of each of the extraction methods is required to know their possible impacts in each area.

The present work focuses on identifying methods to assess vulnerability in electric distribution networks that integrate distributed generation, a key aspect within the framework of the energy transition. The incorporation of renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind, along with the increase in electric vehicles, introduces new challenges that affect the stability of these networks. The state-of-the-art review aims to address the need to analyze how these changes influence the resilience and robustness of distribution networks. A detailed review of the state-of-the-art was carried out by consulting various academic databases, classifying existing methods based on their probabilistic, deterministic, or simulation-based nature. One of the selected methods was simulated to evaluate the vulnerability of a distribution network with distributed generation. Several methods for vulnerability assessment in distribution networks with renewable energy sources were identified and classified, such as the TOPSIS method and complex network analysis. The G1 order relation method was chosen for the simulation, which showed that certain nodes and lines in the network are more vulnerable due to voltage instabilities and overloads. This work provides a methodological framework for evaluating vulnerability in distribution networks with high integration of renewable energy sources. The results highlight the importance of combining subjective and objective approaches in the weighting of vulnerability indicators. The state-of-the-art review offers valuable tools for network operators (OR) to improve the planning and operation of more robust and resilient networks against failures and fluctuations.

Briefly explained, systems modeling is an equivalent exchange of variables such as Speed, precision and effort. When modeling a system, we may have to choose two of these three attributes, leaving one side. A model with a top level of precision and speed will always require an impressive deal of effort. The opposite is rare. This research project will implement a model on a Hardware in the Loop platform that allows improving the design and implementation times of Power Electronics prototypes.

The measurement of energy efficiency according to the IEEE 1459-2010 standard applied to static power converters in three-phase systems is the focus of this research. The first part supports the importance of this type of work, the state of the art and theoretical framework related to the standard, theories of electrical power measurement, three-phase three-pulse inverter bridge type static power converters and speed applied to induction motors, in addition to the work methodology, objectives and justification thereof. Next, the methodology for measuring the efficiency developed in the Matlab Simulink program is presented according to the parameters of IEEE 1459-2010 applied to a three-phase bridge type inverter. In the later section, the method is experimentally demonstrated by applying it to a variable speed drive. Finally, the efficiency measurement is compared in a traditional way with that proposed thanks to the IEEE 1459-2010 standard. The result of the proposed methodology with respect to the traditional one showed that with the application of the IEEE1459-2010 standard, the efficiency value can be more precisely specified, since the standard includes inefficient energy associated with the presence of harmonics in the signals of current and voltage that are generated by static converters in the process.

Bamboo is a natural material that is currently repositioning as a suitable and constitutive material in civil engineering for various types of structures and civil constructions. Particularly, the bamboo of the Guadua angustifolia Kunth species possesses physical properties that make it comparable with high-tech fibers, with metals such as steel and stands out most aspects of wood. However, this material estimates disadvantages with respect to its commercial use due, in part, to the lack of experimentation and technical validation around its architectural use. Thanks to nascent problems that arise in the structures of the bridges made with bamboo, added to the current technological advance and the Colombian geopolitical context, this project proposes the design of an experimental system that validates, from an unprecedented perspective, the convergence between the Structural Health Monitoring with the Internet of Things technology. In the designed system, the monitoring of the main variables that affect the stability and structural integrity of bridges is developed using computational algorithms in the context of artificial intelligence. With the results obtained in this work is expected to encourage the extensive use of bamboo as a material for the construction of pedestrian bridges.

The DC / DC switched converters applied to photovoltaic systems are the focus of this investigation. In the first part of the work, the importance of this type of work is sustained, a state of the art on CC / DC converters and MPPT algorithms is presented, in addition to the work methodology, as well as the objectives and justification of the work. Next, the solar resource is discussed. A consultation and analysis of collected data is presented about the energy potential in Villavicencio and in Bogotá. They also study the mathematical models of solar panels, and the most appropriate way to simulate them using software. At the end, results of simulations in PSIM on solar panels and their behavior are presented. Switched converters are the object of analysis of this work. The simulations of the converter circuit in PSIM are shown, in addition to the mathematical model of the converter in simulink. A mathematical development of the stable state regime and the transitory regime is also presented. The results on simulations in open loop of the converter are also shown. Three algorithms were studied for the DC / DC converter model. It started with the P & O and Incremental Conductance algorithms, and finally the control in sliding modes. The results of simulations are presented, as well as images of the signals that describe the behavior of the circuits. The experimentation is described in the final part of the document. The three MPPT algorithms were implemented on a microcontroller, taking as variables the intensity and output voltage of the panel. Finally, a section of conclusions and discussion of the results obtained in the project is presented, in front of the limitations of the work and comparing with the current devices of the power converters.
