The study of impeachment and its relationship with the Congress of the Republic, the exercise of being a ruler requires establishing a relationship of affinity with this institution or, at least, to have an the Congress of the Republic, insofar as the exercise of being a governor requires establishing a relationship of affinity with this institution or, at least, having the majority support of the political parties. support of the majority of the political parties. According to the WHO (world health organization), mental disorders are alterations of thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships with other people that arise from a combination of social, biological, and psychological factors. Currently, the most common mental disorders are anxiety and depression that affect approximately 260 million people worldwide. Depression is characterized by deep sadness, low self-esteem, guilt, and sleep disorders that, if not treated correctly, can lead to suicide, on the other hand, anxiety disorder produces extreme fear and worry that affects the daily lives of people who suffer it. By 2015, according to the latest mental health survey in Colombia, about 4.7% of the population suffers from depression; young people being the most affected population. Recently - and not only in Colombia but throughout the world - situations related to mental health such as suicides have increased alarmingly. Living in a capitalist society and according to the above, I consider that there is an important relationship between the social and economic structure of capitalism with mental disorders and with the increase in these cases, for this reason, this work seeks to answer the following question: How does the capitalist model influence the behavior of young Colombians and what consequences does it have for their mental health?

This document shows the advances of the research project “The place of women in the social sciences: the case of sociology, anthropology, and history in Colombia 1959-1989” which aims to analyze the processes of female participation in institutionalization and development of social sciences in Colombia. For this, approximate exercises have been carried out since the study of academic production and the descriptive analysis of three periodicals in social sciences. With this it is possible to show that although women like Virginia Gutierrez and Maria Cristina Salazar actively participated in the development of knowledge and institutionalization of social sciences in Colombia, between 1959 and 1990 there was little female representation in serials in social sciences, phenomenon which is explained with the concepts of Glass Ceiling and Matilda Effect.

La función social de la Justicia
    (2020-09-01) Rodríguez Torres, Johan Andrés
This article intends to explain the importance of justice for the individual and the community, whence the need for the state to fulfill its function as guarantor of justice. To do so, the question to be raised is, is justice necessary for social order to exist? The concern from which this research arises is the negative impact of injustice on society. To elucidate an answer to this question, the author takes on fragments of texts pertinent to the discussion and mainly related to topics explored in the political philosophy class, alluding to the state of nature proposed by John Locke, the problem of access to justice in a country like Colombia, the functions of the state, and the lack of protection of society against the breach of the social contract. In this way, our own opinion on these issues will be sustained and we will be able to offer a reflective conclusion that should leave the discussion open to allow a continuation of the research.

The project aims to contribute to the understanding of the current and future state of political communication in Colombia. To this end, a study of the last three electoral campaigns that occurred in the country between 2018 and 2019 is proposed, in which the social network Twitter is assumed to be a privileged area for data collection and analysis. The exponential increase in studies on political communication in digital contexts at an international level contrasts with the relative scarcity of empirical data and comparative studies in the national context. Hence the need to consolidate a theoretical, methodological repertoire and, above all, empirical findings that serve as the basis for a long-term analysis, aimed at understanding in what ways the narratives, strategies and messages that take place in the digital universe are going beyond the mere juncture and influence the generality of the national political debate.

This project consists of a theoretical-practical investigation on radical imagination in the ecosocial alternative. We will work with social actors present in Bogotá to build alternative life proposals to the current declining eco-social model. The social actors that participate are urban youth groups present in the city of Bogotá, grouped together in the Red Itoco Association. These social-popular organizations have a common interest in building alternatives to the capitalist model. Their opposition to this model arises from a double motivation: 1) the assumption that said system is intrinsically destructive of both nature and society on a global scale and 2) that overcoming such a system is not only ethically necessary but also factually possible. The "radical imagination" should consist of reflective processes through projected social actors, images of future ideals that demonstrated an overcoming and a rejection of the liberal-capitalist hegemonic ideology; in other words, radical imagination is the creation of utopias. We start from the hypothesis that this phenomenon is inherent to the thinking of any social actor who sets out to search for and build alternatives to the planetary crisis and ongoing civilizational suicide. The methodology consists of a field study with the use of dialogical devices. Through workshops and focus groups, the researchers will promote the meeting between the participants and the technical postulates on radical imagination and will establish with these, images of the desirable future to overcome the civilizational crisis: alternative ways of organizing social, political and economic relations. , etc. This in turn will identify the attributes of the radical imagination in actors and authors and will investigate the role of the radical imagination in the construction of ecosocial alternatives. With these findings we will be able to make a contribution to the conceptualization of radical imagination, utopia and ecosocial alternativeness in critical theory.

The fifties have been little studied in an integral way. The aim is to carry out an investigation of archives to determine the transformations that occurred in the educational, ecclesial and cultural aspects that marked the life of the country in the following decade. The Catholic Church has had a fundamental role in the consolidation of the Colombian State, education and culture throughout history. During the first half of the 20th century and, as a result of the 1886 constitution, it was present in almost all government levels and was essential in the discussion for the elaboration of public and government policies. With the arrival of liberal governments in the 1930s and the exacerbation of violence in the 1940s, Colombia entered a process of modernization that forced all social, economic and cultural sectors to undergo profound transformations regarding their policies and their what to do. The Church was no stranger to these changes, in the 1950s it was forced to deal with the weight of tradition and its need for change in a Colombia that was made more urban than rural by bipartisan violence. In the case of the regular communities, Dominicans, Jesuits and Eudists were actors in these transformations in the decade, through the creation of the Colegio Santo Tomás, radio literacy Sutatenza and the television broadcast of the Minuto de Dios. Likewise, new cultural trends erupted in Colombia as a result of the influence of French Dadaism and Italian Futurism, paving the way for the consolidation of their own artistic movements such as Nadaism. Investigating the transformations of the political role that the Church fulfilled during the 1950s in Colombia, a period of political, cultural, social and economic transition, is the objective of this project, which will be developed through historiographic and archival research, in archives specialized under a mixed descriptive and critical analysis hermeneutic approach to discourse, allowing the recognition of different agents, discourses and practices of Colombian society during the period of change and social, political, economic and cultural transformation that calls us. This will be done with the USTA contest in alliance with the National University of Colombia. The USTA, through IESHFAZ, DHFI and the Faculty of Philosophy. Another scenario is the controversy over the wreck of the San José Galleon between the indigenous people of Bolivia, the Qhara Qhara Nation and the Colombian government, regarding the right to collective and cultural property that is generated over the movable property (the wreck) of the ship. Also, there is the relevant academic and scientific discussion on intellectual property and the right to scientific research, alleged by Colombian researchers according to the possible destination of the research of the Galleon San José and its wreck in Spain, ignoring the rights, interests, purposes and possibilities of research in Colombia. And finally, there is a possible controversy between Spain and Colombia over the ship and its cargo, which to date is non-existent, but has been constructed and reported by the media in accordance with the property rights generated by the flag and history of the ship. For this reason, a comprehensive legal analysis is proposed, from the description and systematization of the national and international legislation in force and applicable to the case, as well as the elaboration of jurisprudential lines, as the central method of this investigation, to account for the precedents issued nationally by the Supreme Court of Justice, the Council of State, the Constitutional Court and internationally by the Inter-American Court of human rights. This has not been done in investigations of the ship and its wreck, except for two previous investigations: the first carried out by Mateus (2016), which is limited to studying the controversy over the private property right of the San José Galleon between Colombia and Spain, in accordance with International Law; and the second developed by Mancebo (2017), where the protection of underwater cultural heritage in Colombia is proposed. Finally, it is important to highlight the importance of work to contribute to the institutional chairs of Anthropology and Legal Anthropology, in the case of the latter, it is guided by the teachers who lead this research, as well as for research in the field of Law and Social Sciences on the San José Galleon and its wreck.
