The exercise of social appropriation of knowledge presented below aims to present the approaches we had with the indigenous women who lead the Integral Indigenous Cooperative of Agricultural Women, CIIMAPAZ, in the municipality of Caldono (Cauca). This dialogue of knowledge was initially focused on characterizing the organization by talking with those who participate in the cooperative from a gender perspective. To do so, it was taken into account that it was necessary to demonstrate the contribution that Human Rights have in the consolidation of any organizational process, which is why a participatory methodology with some audiovisual techniques was used, which also sought to influence how agreements are established on the social division of labor, as well as the perpetuation of gender stereotypes and finally, how all this relates to the work of women in the cooperative, making it stronger as an organization. In this dialogic process, workshops were held online and in person on these topics, as well as audiovisual recordings were developed where, after identifying gender-based violence as a problem, a sociodrama was performed by the researchers as well as some members of the community. Finally, a reflection process was generated based on the writing of a letter in which it was described how relationships between men and women should be approached in the future in order to have more tolerant and peaceful environments.

In the contemporary context of post-truth and global and local disinformation, the objective of this knowledge appropriation process -PASC- is to train students of the Faculty of Law in the academic spaces of Anthropology (first semester) and Analytics IX (ninth semester) to identify, analyze and dismantle fake news, thus promoting their critical thinking and discernment skills in a digital world saturated with misleading information. The population are Law students, who are studying for the period from February to May 2024, in Bucaramanga, Colombia, the academic spaces of Anthropology in the first semester (28 students) and Analytics IX in the ninth semester (38 students), which allows us to compare training in critical thinking in the framework of post-truth, with students who are starting their first year of college with students already in their last year of college. At the end of the PASC, an improvement was observed not only in the ability to identify fake news, but also in the way of expressing critical thinking on the topics addressed. The exercises were a relevant input when contrasting the initial way of presenting critical arguments and the way in which the argumentative lines were developed when presenting an analysis of fake news or post-truth. The recognition of the legitimacy of academic articles was evident in the students, but at the same time, they expressed concerns about the complexity and length of the texts. In the narratives of some students, it was observed that, although the fake news was dismantled by academic research, even so, the ideology to which they subscribe weighs more in the argument in favor, permeating in this case, their critical thinking. In conclusion, the visualization of the role of the legal profession in the challenges of communication in society and the way in which disinformation is a phenomenon that requires the development of skills, tools and critical and creative thinking to achieve positive transformations in society, allows lawyers in training to link academic research as strategies that enhance the identification of fake news and support the fulfillment of the role of servants of society and justice.

Within the framework of the research project “Narratives and historical memory of immigrants from Venezuela in transit through the Metropolitan Area of Bucaramanga” a process of social appropriation of knowledge (PACS) is developed that aims to provide the students of the University Santo Tomás Sectional Bucaramanga, in the “Peace Construction” activity, the theoretical and experiential tools that allow them to reflect on their own attitudes and practices of discrimination regarding migration from Venezuela in the Metropolitan Area of Bucaramanga (Santander, Colombia). The PASC methodology is structured in four phases: compilation of life stories of Venezuelan migrants; production of a documentary as a pedagogical tool; design of the activities to be carried out with the students; and finally, the broadcast of a program on a university radio station with the participation of migrants from Venezuela as a dissemination strategy. The results show a greater understanding, on the part of the students, of the dynamics of social exclusion, which allows them to generate concrete proposals to combat discrimination.
