Despite being declared as architectural heritage in the list of cultural assets of Colombia, the monastery as museum institution required a curatorial adaptation that guarantee the conservation, research and dissemination of the patrimonial collection of which it has. From this need, the process of curatorial renewal advanced during 2020 in the framework of the FODEIN 2020 project: “Curatorial renovation and Museum of the Monastery of Santo Ecce-Homo: 400 years ". This publication is the result of this process. This catalog is organized according to the twelve rooms that make up the Holy Monastery Museum Ecce - Homo after its renovation. In this sense, present the contents of the new curatorial script of the museum, in order to condense in a publication the themes and approaches that are developed in the new curatorship of the Santo Ecce-Homo Monastery.Ítem Educación y Sociología. This discussion was developed from 6 guiding questions regarding each experience; the aspects that generated greater sensitivity; the main challenges encountered in conducting the research (sources, methodology, community participation; the contrast between what was learned in the academy in relation to the instruction on projects and reality; the perspectives regarding the exercise of working with communities and the possibility of transforming reality and finally, the conceptions of education from each experience. Based on different visits, field trips and observations made between 2017 and 2019 to the municipalities of Monterrey and Villanueva, one of the aspects that stands out is the fight against racial discrimination in different social areas. The Afro-Canarian population feels that the more visibility it acquires, the greater the risk of racist interactions. To address this problem, the question that guides this research is: What is the relationship between ethnic configurations and racism in the municipalities of Monterrey and Villanueva, Casanare? To answer this question, an ethnographic study based on techniques such as focus groups and interviews will be carried out. The population that was worked with corresponds to the IED Antonio José Uribe, located in the San Bernardo neighborhood of the city of Bogotá, specifically the 8th and 9th grades. Through workshops, cartographies and socialization spaces (rap battles, plays and stencils) we sought to realize the meaning that peace has for students, and the situations, practices and relationships in which they emphasize the need to promote it as a superior value. Contrary to what was expected, peace for this type of population is not as related to a structural issue as the historic armed political conflict in Colombia, as stipulated from institutional strategies such as the chair of peace, but rather with a everyday context that implies your neighborhood, your family, your peers and the school space.
