Impacto de la energía y la proteína en la efectividad reproductiva de la hembra bovina de raza Gyr

The present research project focuses on the analysis of the impact of energy and protein on the reproductive effectiveness of Gyr female cattle, addressing different aspects such as the requirements of these aspects in cows, and the effects during the mating season, gestation and during the puerperium (transition period). And how they influence body condition and affect their reproductive performance, based on a systematic review of scientific articles published during the period from 2019 to 2023. The literature review has led to the conclusion that both energy and protein play crucial roles in the reproductive effectiveness of female Gyr cattle. It has been shown that an adequate nutrition, which satisfies energy and protein requirements, is fundamental to maintain an optimal body condition, which is directly related to a better reproductive performance. During the mating season, gestation and puerperium, critical periods in the reproductive cycle, balanced feeding is associated with higher conception rates, lower incidence of reproductive disorders and more efficient postpartum recovery. The studies analyzed, comprised between 2019 and 2023, highlight the importance of a feeding strategy that is tailored to the specific phases of the reproductive cycle, suggesting that investment in quality nutrition translates into tangible benefits for the reproduction of Gyr females. Therefore, it is recommended to continue with research that deepens the relationship between nutrition and reproduction in this breed, in order to develop feeding protocols that maximize reproductive efficiency and contribute to the success of the cattle industry.

The present work consisted of studying the viability of Acacia decurrens as a forage alternative for ruminants in the High Tropics, based on the analysis of nutrient concentration and biomass production, comparing three different cutting heights (60 cm, 90 cm and 120 cm). This study was carried out in lot 18 of the Agricultural Biotechnology Center of SENA in Mosquera, department of Cundinamarca. In lot 18, of 4200 m2 (square meters) that was part of (SSPi), a randomized complete block design was carried out for which 3 homogeneous plots were chosen in terms of size (360 m2) and conditions. In each plot, 2 trees were chosen that were cut to 60 cm, 2 trees that were cut to 90 cm and 2 trees that were cut to 120 cm, weighing the biomass obtained on a fresh basis on a dry basis. After each weighing after the dehydration process by the permanence of the biomass for 30 days at room temperature, the weight of the dry matter was determined. There were 4 court instances, the first in March 2019 for administrative reasons, the project had an impasse of 6 months. The second moment was in August 2019, the third in September and the fourth was in October 2019. From the biomass measurement, pools of the last 3 cutting instances were sent with samples of each cutting measure in each instance, making the bromatological studies and, from them, obtaining the nutritional characteristics of each cut. After weighing the forage both on a wet basis and on a dry basis, the analysis of variance and percentage calculations concluded that there are slight quantitative differences between the different forage cuts, expressing a greater amount of biomass in cuts at 60 cm than in cuts at 90 cm and 120 cm. From the bromatological study of the material on a dry basis, the forage cut at 90 cm resulted in a higher concentration of nutrients than the forage cut at 60 and 120 cm.

In the findings it can be found that the Educational institution reason for analysis has within its principles how to form integrally in technological, scientific, cultural, sports and environmental education environments for the improvement of the quality of life of the community and as a vision seeks to position itself as a leader in the integral education of the students, forming people useful to themselves and to society, with a successful performance in the world of work.
Factores determinantes de la eficiencia reproductiva en bovinos

The purpose of this article is to analyze the determining factors of reproductive efficiency in Bovines. A methodology is approached with a type of descriptive study, a mixed approach and documentary review techniques. The results allowed us to understand that reproductive efficiency is a biological achievement of reproductive activity that integrates processes such as: heat, ovulation, fertilization, gestation and parturition; In order for this to be maximized, some determining factors must be taken into account, such as reproductive behavior related to puberty age, puberty weight, weight of incorporation to the service, age at first service, age at first delivery and replacement or replacement rate ; in addition to the reproductive parameters and parameters to evaluate fertility, fecundity, and cyclicity. It is concluded that reproductive efficiency is determined by factors of animal welfare, environmental protection, the distinctive quality of a product, climate change, and human health. Biotechnology currently offers a number of tools for the genetic improvement of livestock and efficiency in bovine reproduction since it improves the environmental components of the production systems and the genetic composition of these animals.

The department of development and environment secretary is in charge of promoting and encouraging the socioeconomic development of the agricultural, fish farming, beekeeping, tourism, business development and environment sectors in the department of Sucre to make them sustainable, competitive and profitable. At the municipal level, it is in charge of providing a free service to small and medium-sized agricultural producers, which was created by Law 607 of 2000, which allows them to guarantee Direct Rural Agricultural, Environmental, Water and Fisheries Affairs, this service public is mandatory and subsidized in relation to small and medium rural producers. This report seeks to establish preventive training programs aimed at producers to mitigate the mortality problem that has been occurring in the cattle herds of the municipality of San Marcos. It is also intended that small and medium producers know all the services provided by this entity, and the benefits to which they are entitled, thus generating the strengths and weaknesses that this entity has in terms of providing the service to producers.
Apoyo tecnico al programa de buenas practicas de ordeño en la secretaria de desarrollo rural en el municipio de Sardinata, Norte de Santander

The main economic activity of the population of the municipality of Sardinata, Norte de Santander is agriculture, followed by livestock with the production of dual-purpose cattle (meat and milk), pigs, horses, and poultry, and finally, mining with extraction of mineral coal and among others. Therefore, through research, monitoring and follow-up, the milking practices carried out in the different farms were identified, where it was possible to identify the improvement aspects where training and technical advice were carried out to implement BPO protocols (Good Milking Practices) to obtain better product quality and dairy herd health. The people in charge of carrying out this procedure understood that asepsis and the correct handling of the product will allow greater economic profitability and greater production.

The implementation of good livestock practices (BPG) in rural municipalities generates high competitiveness in the supply of meat and dairy products, which is why large national companies in the production of dairy products have seen opportunities in the search for suppliers to provide them low-cost raw materials of excellent quality. Is for this reason that in this document a theoretical exploration, it is made on the rules established for the application of BPG in Colombia and the payment of commission to dairy producers, under Resolution 000017 of 2012. Under this perspective, the research carried out established theoretical foundations such as the sectors of Cundinamarca in which more liters of milk are produced, the legal framework for its commercialization and the strategies developed by rural cooperatives for the supply and demand for dairy products and derivatives.

The cattle company La Fe has been working with a production of livestock, milk, where weaning pups are approximately 80 - 90 kg in weight, and milk production is between 1.5 - 2 liters, this it has natural pastures with a low level of proteins, in which it is an extensive system, with little weed controls, the water has a well that does not have conduction networks, the soils are mostly mixed between clay and sandy With slopes, little sanitary management, it does not use supplementation, and there is no pasture management. This livestock company seeks to make and improve with the implementation of a pasture rotation system, oriented to different strategies, to obtain maximum animal production per hectare and fodder, to obtain more animal loading capacity with the establishment of new improved pastures, to associate grasses and legumes and have weed controls, to obtain a sustainable production system, to know the importance of the pasture rotation system that with this allows us to have the days of occupation and rest of each pasture, to give it a good management to pastures, livestock and land, it also helps us that the forage production of each pasture has a recovery period between grazing cycles, this system can fertilize and fertilize the pastures quickly, we can quantify the amount of fodder per hectare making capacity in the pastures, in order to determine the animal carrying capacity of each pasture and the optimal time of each grazing, you can control the entry and exit of animals to each pasture. This system allows to maintain a constant production throughout the year of fodder, increase the production of animals and the profitability of the livestock entrepreneur and can be taken as a model for other livestock companies in the area.
Evaluación del efecto de la suplementación con (Moringa oleífera) y Caña de azúcar (Saccharum officinarum) sobre la producción y calidad composicional de la leche de vacas Costeño con Cuernos en primer tercio de lactancia en un Sistema Silvopastoril en época de sequía en la microrregión del valle del Cesar

In order to evaluate the effect of sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum) and Moringa oleífera supplementation on milk production and nutritional quality, the experiment was carried out in the municipality of Agustin Codazzi (Cesar) in the Silvopastoral System AGROSAVIA Motilonia Research Center during the dry season. 6 cows -Costeño con Cuernos- with 430 kg of body weight (BW) in the firth lactation stage were used distributed in a completely randomized 3 treatments, one of which received only grazing (T0) and the others fed with grazing plus a 1% supply of BW in Dry Matter with two inclusion levels: 70 – 30 % (T1) y 50 – 50 % (T2) of Sugarcane and Moringa oleifera, respectively. Data collection was performed together with milk samples for 3 days after the adaptation period. All data were run in Microsoft Excel. The results obtained didn't show a significant effect (P < 0,05) on milk production, protein and solids-not-fat, whereas, existed significant effects (P < 0,05) on fat concentration, observing that in the T1 and T2 had a higher % fat (4,53 y 4,69 %, respectively). One can conclude from this study that by providing supplementation energy – protein was found to have positive effects on the milk Fat concentration.

It is essential for livestock to have clear development goals and for this, strategies must be established that guarantee the permanent supply of meat products, in conditions of excellent quality and prices accessible by consumers. This is why this work was carried out to publicize the political, economic, and social importance of complying with the necessary requirements to obtain a safety system for quality production that covers the entire food chain, taking into account the relevant aspects related to animal health and the environment, in order to minimize the risks to the health of consumers, thus ensuring that it is closer to the requirement of globalized markets and that it emphasizes proper management in production processes. The rules created for the establishment of Good Livestock Practices - (BPG), are intended to minimize the impact that livestock practices have on the environment, reduce the risks of contamination of livestock products with chemical, physical and biological agents and improve both the labor welfare of rural workers, such as the welfare of animal species that are technically exploited. The establishment of the BPG requires an orderly record of all activities carried out on the farm, in this way the producer will have a clearer vision of the operation of his livestock company. How it is To do things well done and record it The need to provide certainty to consumers of products of animal origin, healthy and reliable, require that they be produced by applying Pollution Risk Reduction Systems in the field-to-table chain. The role of good practices helps to ensure that products do not become waste that affect the environment, risk the health of the population and the people involved in its production, improve product quality, differentiate and give value added to the product, access new markets, face new demands of consumption and marketing of milk, monitor the quality and safety of the product in the food chain, take care of animal welfare and reduce costs.

Alfalfa y avena forrajera como alternativa alimenticia aprisco (CIPER)

The objective of the present work was to develop the implementation of the sowing of two types of forage for the feeding of 48 ovines that are in the center of research in small ruminants, project belonging to the Juan de Castellanos University Foundation located in the veterinary clinic Francisco . of Assisi in the municipality of Soracá, department of Boyacá The sowing of forage oats (avena sativa) and alfalfa (medicago sativa) was implemented as a nutritional alternative for 48 ovines, which due to summer problems, poor handling in the animal load and over grazing, had to feed only the animals with Oat silage prepared for this purpose. The sheepfold has two fanegadas of productive area, divided in 8 paddocks, of which 2 are destined for the sowing of oats and 1 for the sowing of alfalfa. With the accompaniment carried out during the practice, it is sought to strengthen the feeding and nutrition of these sheep with forage of oats and alfalfa, to obtain better productive and reproductive results, and therefore economic; Since this project is not only dedicated to the part of educational research, but also to the sale of genetics and animals on foot for their sacrifice.
