Tipo de ítem: Ítem , María y la perspectiva feminista(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2026-05-22) Gómez Castañeda, Edilson Belisario; López Saavedra, Camilo Alfonso; Universidad Santo Tomás; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0001513323; https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=N6-ySR4AAAAJ&hl=es&oi=ao; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2273-887XThe text addresses the relationship and tensions between Mariology and feminist theology, questioning whether they are opposing perspectives. The analysis explores the figure of Mary, not only as the mother of God and model of virtue according to the Magisterium, but also as a social icon of oppressed women from a feminist perspective. Points of divergence are identified, such as the absolutization of Mary's virginity and motherhood, which can limit the identity of other women. Finally, the essay proposes a synodal theology, capable of articulating and structuring emerging feminist discourses and their leadership in the Church and their vindication in social and cultural processes.Tipo de ítem: Ítem , Jerusalén: Tus puertas siempre abiertas(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2026-05-13) Leal Reátiga, Julián Eduardo; Mena López, Maricel; Universidad Santo Tomás; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0000651761; https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=u31ScywAAAAJ&hl=es&oi=ao; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5958-0570; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9271-8962This study examines Isaiah (Is) 60, one of the chapters at the heart of Third Isaiah (TrIs), which presents an oracle of restoration concerning the city of Jerusalem. This oracle reflects the longings and utopian visions of a good life held by the communities returning from exile in Babylon and by those who remained in Jerusalem. These dreams are projected amid the chaos generated by the city’s reconfiguration in the post-Babylonian exile period and will be reinterpreted against the backdrop of the aspirations for a good life in our contemporary cities, with the aim of offering an illuminating contribution to the reality faced by the Colombian people in the post-peace agreement era. As a methodological approach, we employ a structural or semiotic analysis of the text from two perspectives: first, the manifest structure, which refers to the narrative discourse of the oracle of restoration; and second, the immanent structure, which corresponds to the logical-semantic and enunciative level projected by the text.Tipo de ítem: Ítem , Desarrollo de la conciencia social en niños de cuarto grado a través de la enseñanza de ciencias sociales inspirada en la doctrina social de la iglesia y el carisma de los hermanos del sagrado corazón(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2026) Roa Franco, Daniel Santiago; Moncada Guzmán, Ciro Javier; Universidad Santo Tomás; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0001592537; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0001775339; https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=3sUCUu4AAAAJ&hl=es&oi=ao; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0796-9546The Institute of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, founded in 1821 in Lyon by André Coindre in response to the social crisis following the French Revolution, was initially established to rescue young orphans and those at risk of delinquency, but soon expanded its mission to education, especially in underserved rural areas, establishing an educational approach aimed at the integral formation of the person: freeing them from ignorance, preparing them for life, and bringing them closer to the knowledge and love of the faith. Coindre promoted a teaching of the Gospel centered on concrete experience and witness, insisting that education must go beyond abstract concepts to become a living encounter with Christ, which establishes the school as a privileged space for human and spiritual formation. This legacy is embodied in Colombia at the Antonio Nariño HH. Corazonistas School, where the educational mission is oriented toward the harmonious development of students’ abilities, grounded in Gospel values and Corazonist pedagogy, integrating the social sciences in a special way with the Social Doctrine of the Church. This approach fosters the development of critical, compassionate, and committed individuals who are capable of being “good citizens and better Christians” in a pluralistic society that often undermines the practice of faith and the sense of social responsibility; Therefore, it is necessary to implement educational approaches that strengthen critical awareness and sensitivity to social issues, so that young people not only understand their reality but also have the tools to transform it, thereby reaffirming the importance of the school as a key space in the development of social and solidarity-based awareness.Tipo de ítem: Ítem , El mundo de la vida en la economía de la salvación(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2026-05-05) Álvarez Contreras, Brayan Armando; Moncada Guzmán, Ciro Javier; Universidad Santo Tomás; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0001592537; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0000106378; https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=3sUCUu4AAAAJ&hl=es&oi=ao; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0796-9546Humanity, notwithstanding its rational and cultural advancements, confronts inherent limitations and sufferings that yield despair and a profound need for hope. Christian faith provides solace through eschatological hope in Christ, the incarnate God and Man. This hope, first kindled among the Israelites, was realized through Christ's advent, unveiling God's covenant promise. Through Him, the world of life assumes a transformative significance: transitioning from passivity to a realm of salvation, where humanity participates in the eschatological Kingdom.Tipo de ítem: Ítem , Psallite domino! la obra musical de luis torres zuleta: Contribución a la aplicación de la carta apostólica desiderio desideravi.(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2026-04-05) Toro Gamba, Fray. The musical Work of Luis Torres Zuleta: A contribution to the application of the apostolic letter Desiderio desideravi examines how the liturgical compositions of this Colombian musician contribute to the liturgical formation of the assembly in the spirit of the Second Vatican Council and the teachings of Pope Francis. Through a contextual, theological, and musical analysis, it demonstrates that Torres Zuleta’s work fosters full, conscious, and active participation in the liturgy by employing an accessible yet profound musical language rooted in Colombia’s cultural identity. His compositions integrate the Gregorian tradition with local rhythms, creating a deeper understanding of the liturgy as a source of communion and beauty. In this perspective, Luis Torres Zuleta’s opera emerges as a pedagogical and pastoral tool that embodies the principles of Desiderio Desideravi, transforming liturgical song into a true path of faith and ecclesial unity.Tipo de ítem: Ítem , Impacto de la renovación carismática católica en la formación sacerdotal y la espiritualidad pastoral de los formandos de la congregación de Jesús y maría del minuto de dios en Colombia.(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2025-11-28) Cruz Niño, Victor Alfonso; Moncada Guzmán, Ciro Javier; Universidad Santo Tomas; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0001592537; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0001393422; https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=3sUCUu4AAAAJ&hl=es&oi=ao; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0796-9546This research analyzes how the Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CCR) has influenced the priestly formation processes of the Congregation of Jesus and Mary (Eudists) in the Province of El Minuto de Dios, Colombia. The study focuses on identifying how charismatic spirituality—characterized by the experience of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and the exercise of charisms—integrates with the spiritual heritage of Saint John Eudes to shape a specific priestly profile. Through a theological and pastoral approach, the paper examines the dimensions of formation (human, spiritual, intellectual, and pastoral) at "La Misión" formation house. It highlights that the CCR not only provides an evangelizing dynamism and a more spontaneous, community-based prayer life but also strengthens the future priest's identity as an anointed servant committed to social transformation. The research concludes that the synergy between the Eudist charism and the charismatic current of grace generates a comprehensive formative proposal. This allows candidates to develop a "spirituality of the heart" that responds to the challenges of the New Evangelization, promoting priests with deep human maturity, a solid theological foundation, and a marked missionary zeal for the service of the Church and society.Tipo de ítem: Ítem , La ecoteología y la educación religiosa escolar en los grados 10 y 11 del instituto salesiano Don Bosco de Cúcuta(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2025-12-23) Sánchez Madariaga, Fabián Camilo; Mahecha Beltran, Gustavo Adolfo; Vergara Acosta, Mario Rafael; Barrera Cuesta, Jaime; Moreno Romero, Oliverio de Jesús; Universidad Santo Tomás; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0000067774; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0001349041; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0000057982; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0001386210; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0002357794; https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=27r2vQgAAAAJ&hl=es&oi=ao; https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=ZPcFWbwAAAAJ&hl=es&oi=ao; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6816-8510; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7640-2992; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3563-2553; https://orcid.org/0009-0006-9239-3543The integration of ecotheology into religious education in schools responds to current educational policies that demand urgent attention to climate change, embracing the new challenges of environmental education in bioethics, ecosophy, and a culture of solidarity for a theological ecology. With a forward-looking perspective, employing qualitative research and an ethnographic approach, this study analyzes the behaviors, actions, and community activities within the school environments of the Salesian Institute of San Juan Bosco, with the active participation of the students themselves, who foster dynamism and renewal within the academic curriculum. This generates a new curricular and didactic proposal useful for both teachers and students in any educational institution. The results were achieved through focus groups, pedagogical workshops, and semi-structured interviews, systematizing information across three categories of analysis: theological projection and mediation, pedagogical and narrative aspects, and the formative dimension of the research.Tipo de ítem: Ítem , Reflexión sobre el rol de los laicos en una iglesia de comunión desde el pensamiento de Jerome Hammer(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2026-02-11) Quimuña Narváez, Luis Eduardo; Universidad Santo TomásReflection on the role of the laity in the life of the Church has been a constant throughout the centuries, with several theologians offering their firmest opinions to ensure that these valuable agents, who use their charisms to help the Church continue proclaiming the Kingdom of God from their lay vocation, are not neglected. In the course of their reflections, they have encountered many difficulties in fully recognizing the mission of the laity. Several experiences of lay people, who have been very well formed in Church doctrine and who have presented themselves to their parishes to offer their help, have been dismissed or undervalued, reducing their valuable wisdom and contribution to basic tasks. These situations reveal a lack of clarity among pastors and the faithful regarding the fundamental role they play in the life, mission, and preaching of the Church in its various contexts.Tipo de ítem: Ítem , ¿Sufre Dios en la cruz?(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2026-02-11) Panta Catota, Rocky Leonardo; Universidad Santo TomásThis theological essay explores the suffering of God in the crucifixion of Jesus, analyzing the relationship between the Trinity and the pain of the cross. It examines concepts such as the impassibility of God, while avoiding any drift toward Patripassianism, and highlights how the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit participate in the salvific drama. It concludes that God, in His love and compassion, does not remain indifferent to human suffering; rather, He offers Himself, revealing an unwavering love and the total involvement of the Triniity in the work of redemtion.Tipo de ítem: Ítem , La espiritualidad de los jóvenes en la era digital: Experiencias y desafíos desde la pastoral educativa del Colegio Antonio Nariño HH. Using an interdisciplinary approach, it analyzes the adaptation of traditional spiritual languages to the challenges of the digital environment, information overload, and the resurgence of interiority through new narrative forms. Findings show that digital culture, far from displacing spiritual experience, transforms and diversifies it, requiring an educational ministry that engages proactively with youth codes and ecological-social horizons.Tipo de ítem: Ítem , Aportes de la espiritualidad camiliana al ecumenismo espiritual(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2026-01-19) Semanate Artunduaga, Jesús Aníbal; Quevedo Rodríguez, Andrés Mauricio; Universidad Santo Tomás; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0000021931; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0001857353; https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=E-_L9xUAAAAJ&hl=es&oi=ao; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7915-6491This article examines the contributions of Camillian spirituality to spiritual ecumenism, understood as the soul of every effort toward Christian unity. It proposes that compassionate and loving care for the sick, the core of Camillus de Lellis' charism, constitutes a universal language that transcends doctrinal differences and fosters communion among Christian denominations. From a historical, biblical, and theological perspective, it shows how Camillian spirituality integrates faith and practice, placing charity as the foundation of encounter and reconciliation. In dialogue with spiritual ecumenism centered on conversion of heart, common prayer, and the witness of martyrs, the Camillian proposal contributes three specific dimensions: ecumenism of the body, which recognizes in shared fragility a theological place of communion; grassroots ecumenism, which arises from daily cooperation in the service of the suffering; and humanizing ecumenism, which promotes the dignity of every person as a path to unity. These forms of encounter, inspired by compassion and mercy, transform human suffering into a space of grace and fraternal dialogue. In conclusion, Camillian spirituality presents itself as a living bridge between faith and action, prayer and service, showing that Christian unity is built on concrete gestures of love that heal, console, and humanize. Now, death as part of human realities and even more, from the awareness of a transmigration, represents in part the repercussion obtained from the vision that Judaism has; with its reflection on death as part of life, as well as the varied perspectives on the afterlife and the emphasis on the actions of man. Islam, on the other hand, treats death as a step towards the eternal, judgment and reward and emphasizes community and duty. Likewise, Christianity manifests death in its passage through the life of the human being, in the perspective of sin, redemption through Christ and the conception of heaven, hell and justification. Therefore, the proposal is to put in dialogue these religious expressions to induce reflections that enrich the belief about death in its less superficial sense. Hence, the panorama is diversified and strengthened by dialectical hermeneutics to sustain death as a natural, essential concern, centered on the present life.Tipo de ítem: Ítem , Tres caminos hacia el rostro del pobre: Una teología comparada, Islam Y Budismo para enriquecer la mirada cristiana(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2025-12-17) Morales Holguín, Yeferson Mauricio; Quevedo Rodríguez, Andrés Mauricio; Universidad Santo TomásThis study aims to enrich the concept of poverty in Christianity, based on a comparative analysis with the theological perspectives of Islam and Buddhism. This explanation is known as mystagogical catechesis, which indicates the last period of the ancient catechumenate, usually during the week after Easter, when neophytes received these catecheses. They were an allegorical explanation, whose main aspects were theological, moral, and spiritual, and were based on the rite, its consequences, and its experience in community life. It is important to remember that several Fathers of the Church offered mystagogical catecheses to the neophytes, among whom we highlight St. Cyril of Jerusalem, who provided the most representative mystagogical catecheses of antiquity, inviting believers to be reborn in body and soul through water and the Spirit. Our post-sacramental or mystagogical catechesis must lead those who live it to a personal and intimate experience with Jesus Christ that brings about a complete metanoia. It must be a space that welcomes everyone fraternally, where the initiated feel members of a Universal Church, where each member of the community is valued. Along with spiritual and communal experience, it must also be linked to solid biblical and doctrinal formation, as this is the only way to help each initiate mature in their religious experience. With catechesis presented in this way, we begin a path to overcome what has been denounced in this research: the loss of the meaning of baptism, which has turned into a social issue, commerce, fashion, tradition—in short, consumerism, a "supermarket religion." This situation endangers the sacramentality of our faith life and the Christian formation we have received. Finally, this catechesis will help the faithful become aware of their responsibilities as Christians.Tipo de ítem: Ítem , ¿Cómo la Situación de los Migrantes se Convierte en un "Signo de los Tiempos"?(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2025-09-21) Rodriguez Muñoz, Brenda Paulina; Zamora, Gustavo; Universidad Santo TomásTipo de ítem: Ítem , Visión Ecoteológica Desde la Perspectiva de la Antropología Teológica(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2025-09-02) Coronado Villalba, Andres Eduardo; Quevedo Rodríguez, Andrés Mauricio; Universidad Santo Tomás; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0000021931; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0001905577; https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=E-_L9xUAAAAJ&hl=es&oi=ao; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7915-6491This article reflects on the importance of theological anthropology in mediating the balance between the relationship of God, humanity, and nature. This is particularly relevant given that the contemporary world faces an environmental crisis caused by human beings and their excessive drive for production and environmental exploitation. Such actions have broken the harmonious relationship between humanity and nature, while neglecting the divine mandate to “till and keep” creation. First, the article analyzes aspects of the theology of creation that promote care for the environment. Second, it proposes a dialogue between theological anthropology and the sciences—particularly concerning the Big Bang and evolution—which offers key insights for the care of creation by reconsidering the human place in the universe, challenging anthropocentrism, and fostering a more harmonious relationship with the environment. Finally, it delves into the horizons of an integral ecology. As a result, it is argued that from the perspective of theological anthropology, it is possible to achieve a balance between humanity and the environment. In doing so, anthropocentrism is questioned, and instead, an integral ecology is proposed in which human beings bring about changes that promote a renewed relationship with the rest of creation.Tipo de ítem: Ítem , La Inmaculada Concepción de María: Arte, Teología y Simbolismo en la Obre de Gregorio Vásquez de Arce y Ceballos(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2025-09-02) Pardo Carrillo, José Eduardo; Pinto López, Carlos Andrés; Universidad Santo Tomás; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0000077454; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0000106372; https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=xHHJXuEAAAAJ&hl=es&oi=ao; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3571-7258Religious iconography has played a fundamental role in Christian life, serving as a bridge between theology and believer’s visual experience. In this context, Gregorio Vásquez de Arce y Ceballos’ depiction of the Immaculate Conception is an artistic manifestation of the theological and devotional development surrounding this dogma. Following the typological method, the image of Mary without original sin can be understood considering Old Testament figures, such as Eve or the Ark of the Covenant, which prefigure her role in the history of salvation. This approach, used by the Church Fathers, highlights the continuity between the Old and New Covenants, presenting Mary as the pinnacle of divine grace and a foreshadowing of redemption in Christ. Vásquez de Arce y Ceballos’ work, framed within Neogranadine Baroque, responds both to the sensus fidelium that preceded the 1854 dogmatic definition and to the pedagogical function of sacred art. Thus, his painting not only illustrates doctrine but also invites the believer to contemplate the mystery of grace, rooted in Scripture and expressed in the Church’s liturgy.Tipo de ítem: Ítem , “Propuesta Pastoral de Acompañamiento Ecuménico a Pacientes y Familiares de Pacientes no Católicos”.(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2018) Pérez Villegas, Luis Eduardo; Universidad Santo Tomás: The purpose of this project is to show how religious Camillians with a charisma in the field of health are witnesses that face the circumstances that cause pain, suffering, and multiple illness.
