This is where the teacher must lead the educational management and evaluation processes, through the design, implementation and evaluation of pedagogical teaching strategies that allow for better learning in their area of knowledge. The objective of the research is to assess the impact on the learning of Statistics achieved by the tenth grade students of the IE Trujillo through the application of the fundamentals of critical mathematical education, which was addressed from the following question: ¿ What is the impact that the design of pedagogical strategies based on the foundations of Critical Mathematics Education has on the learning process of Statistics in the tenth grade students of the Trujillo Educational Institution? For this purpose, the research is part of the socio-critical paradigm, with a qualitative approach. The application of the instruments designed from the defined categories of analysis allowed students to acquire skills to collect, tabulate, represent information, as well as the competence to reflect on the results obtained, thus being able to respond to the stated objectives. They stand out as contributions to the educational field, the acceptance of new teaching methods that are innovative for students, the transformation of teaching practice and the potential that this type of mathematical education has to implement at all levels and components of mathematical thinking.Ítem El juego como estrategia para la gestión de la competencia lectoescritural de los estudiantes del tercer grado de una Institución Educativa de Agustín Codazzi.(2022-07-15) Zuleta Diaz, Yeisis Tatiana; Guerrero, José Humberto; Universidad Santo TomásThe appropriation of literacy competence becomes the cornerstone of the comprehensive training of students, hence the general objective of the present research was to assess playful strategies, through games, that favor the performance of the competence literacy of third grade students of the San Ramón Educational Institution in the municipality of Agustín Codazzi. The research was framed in the interpretive paradigm under the qualitative approach based on the Participation Action Research (PAR) method. The study population was made up of 45 students of the third grade of Primary Basic of both sexes, aged between eight and 10 years and 6 teachers of the same grade. The sample was 20 students, selected intentionally and by three third grade teachers. The technique used was the observation and the interview that was applied to the teachers and the survey to the students, the field diary was used. The results obtained after the application of the action plan showed that the management of literacy skills through play activities are a didactic means that help the student to take ownership of reading and writing. Through play, a greater willingness to work in the classroom is developed, their natural comprehension skills are strengthened, their creativity is developed, which influences the expansion of their vocabulary and greater satisfaction in learning to read and write. To determine and manage the best pedagogical and didactic strategies that favour the articulation of the family and the school. To this end, the hermeneutic-interpretative epistemological approach was adopted and a qualitative methodology was designed with the support of a quantitative tool. Sociodemographic and participation surveys, focus groups and interviews were implemented, and the following categories of analysis were taken into account: the family-school relationship, the school as a place of integral formation, pedagogy of ethics, and management of pedagogical strategies in basic education, to articulate family and school in formative processes. The research made it possible to reiterate the role of articulation between family and school as an indispensable means of achieving integral education. Finally, an intervention proposal (participative) was formulated for the José Agustin Mackencie School, aimed at strengthening these processes in the institution. This investigative work is carried out within the framework of the bilingual integration formally proposed by the Colombian State to the National Education System. The research is projective with a qualitative approach, whose data were collected from a semi-structured interview. The results indicate that the main factors that prevent the implementation of a bilingual culture in the institution are associated with difficulties in the management of the methodological and pedagogical strategies used for the teaching of English, which lead to the demotivation of students for learning and, therefore, to the little command of the language they present.Ítem Gestión de un ambiente de aprendizaje mediado por Scratch para el fortalecimiento de la competencia, formulación y resolución de problemas en contextos de adición de números enteros.(2022-07-07) Laguna Lamilla, Harris Wrandon; Guerrero Rodríguez, José Humberto; Universidad Santo TomásThe research presented investigates the influence of the management of a learning environment mediated by the Scrath programming language in the strengthening of the problem formulation and execution competence in integer numbers. For this purpose, the students' performance levels are analyzed in 4 learning evidences: recognizes the Cartesian plane as a two-dimensional system that allows locating points as a graphic or geographic reference system, uses calculation procedures to solve problems involving addition of integers, interprets statistical information that requires the use of integers, and uses different strategies to solve equations with integers in daily contexts. The research has a varied, quasi-experimental approach. It was developed with a population of 156 students from the municipality of La Paz, taking a purposive sampling of 58 eleventh grade students from the I.E. San José, forming a control group and an experimental group. Both samples were subjected to pre-test and post-test. Just the experimental group participated in the learning environment characterized by teamwork, problem solving and the use of Scratch. The experimental group obtained favorable results in the post-test, while the control group did not evidence significant variations. At the end of the implementation stage, a test of goodness of adjustment is applied. A Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used to find parametric data. Once the implementation stage is finished, the Hypothesis validation process is carried out with the Student's "t" test. Taking into account a level α = 0.05, it is inferred that, in the Post test, for the control and experimental groups there is a variation significant in the results. Therefore, the alternate hypothesis is accepted. In conclusion, the experimental group scores higher than the control group.Ítem Fortalecimiento de las competencias de automotivación y autoestima para la construcción de proyectos de vida en estudiantes.(2022-07-08) García Chávez, Robinson; Jose Humberto, Jose Humberto; Universidad Santo TomásThe objective of this research was to manage the strengthening of self-motivation and self-esteem skills that allow the construction of life projects of eighth grade students. The starting point was the question: How are self-motivation and self-esteem skills strengthened for the construction of life projects in eighth grade students of a Technical Educational Institution in Jagua de Ibirico, Colombia? Supported in the statements of Branden (1993), D´Angelo (2000), Papalia et al. (2012), Balart (2015) and Pacori et al. (2016) among others. Methodologically, specifically in the qualitative paradigm, framed in the Pedagogical Action Research, based on Hernández et al. (2006). The population consisted of 38 eighth grade students, ages 13-16. An interview was conducted supported by a diagnostic questionnaire addressed to the students, where even when levels of self-esteem and self-motivation were evidenced, these had to be strengthened given the age of the students and adverse life contexts. Through logs, the sessions carried out in the designed methodological route were recorded: Reflective application workshops: Building my Life Project. The results demonstrated the importance of working on self-esteem and self-motivation skills in adolescent students, to guide them to recognize their own weaknesses, strengths, opportunities, threats and vocational preferences. Therefore, it is important to highlight that the term multiculturalism and all that it implies, is heard at the national level in all scenarios, and the educational field is one of them therefore, many times in educational practice cultural and ideological conflicts are evident, something that is common throughout Latin America and Colombia is no stranger to this. Therefore, the school must be that space that enables coexistence and the exchange of thoughts, where interculturality is highlighted as that instrument of intellectual advancement and peace. A nation that promotes multiculturalism is one that favors diversity that fights against segregation, racism and any sign of exclusion that is based on the interrelation of the different groups that compose it. But this implies training its citizens in interculturality, dialogue and respect, in order to offer minority groups the opportunity to cooperate from their cultural codes in a dialogue of equality, which uproots the ethnocentric, paternalistic or cultural relativism positioning. Therefore, an education oriented from interculturality is an education centered on man, and one of the most relevant challenges of the educational system in Colombia is to educate from humanism, from the recognition of the other as oneself. Therefore, in the Jorge Eliécer Gaitán School of the Municipality of Pueblo Bello, it is necessary to design pedagogical and didactic strategies that help strengthen the intercultural education approach in the formative proposal of the institution since it has a multiethnic population. One of the essential objectives of the teaching processes should be the training of students with a high social commitment, where their scientific knowledge is not part of the patrimony of their personal wealth only, but that of the whole society in general. It is therefore necessary to try to train a student who, in addition to possessing the aforementioned characteristics, is prepared to face difficult, contradictory situations, fight against individualism, competition, careerism and other difficulties that are typical of today's society, therefore, a teaching process focused on the transmission of knowledge merely without the practical application of the same is a limited and incomplete process, because the student does not have the necessary tools, strategies and relevant mechanisms that allow him to regulate his behavior and assume an active, reflective, conscious and responsible position in the decision making and solution of the problems that will be presented to him in life. Therefore, with the strengthening of the intercultural education approach at the Jorge Eliécer Gaitán School, students in a creative and innovative way will strengthen and strengthen their cultural identity as part of their life project. Likewise, it is relevant to keep in mind that educational contexts are fundamental for this purpose, because it is the foundation of much of the formation of the human being. The objective of the research is to propose a program of recreation and psychosocial orientation that promote positive school coexistence among students, from grades 6 to 11, of the Educational Institution Agricultural Institute of the Municipality of Pueblo Bello - Cesar. Methodologically, it was framed in the post positivist paradigm under the qualitative approach, descriptive and interpretive level through inductive field work. The population was made up of community actors and a student population of 520 from Basic Secondary from 6th to 11th grades between 13 and 17 years of age. The sample represented by 30 students, 13 teachers, group directors, 01 general coordinator, 01 school counselor, 06 parents. As techniques: Observation, semi-structured interview and survey. As Instruments: daily field record, checks and natural observation. As information analysis techniques, the categorization - analysis and interpretation process was used. The results of the diagnosis made it possible to propose a recreation and psychosocial orientation program. In particular, formal education institutions in the country have the Institutional Student Assessment System as a tool to assess student performance. The evaluation system is regulated by the Ministry of National Education, and is built autonomously by each educational community, taking into account the context in which it is immersed. For this reason, the fundamental interest is to evaluate the SIEE to recognize its relevance. Although progress has been made in the scope of the evaluation process, on some occasions it is reduced to the numerical assessment of learning, hence the present research aims to assess the Institutional System of Student Assessment of the Jesús Maestro del municipality of Montenegro (Quindío) and the contributions that the socioformative approach can offer. For the implementation of the pedagogical sessions, it was necessary to use the eXeLearning tool where the units and activities established according to the difficulties in the area of Geometry presented by the students in the pre-test carried out by the Institution were previously uploaded. Twenty-five students from the 8th grade of the Policarpa Salavarrieta Educational Institution were selected, choosing 5 students for each course belonging to said grade. In the first instance, the problem statement was made, in which everything related to the subject of the degree work is mentioned, the fundamental reasons that prompted this research and the proposed objectives that will help solve the educational problem raised. Next, all the foundations and background, both theoretical and conceptual, as well as legal, were investigated in order to obtain a more global and comprehensive vision of how to face this problem and what technological resources would be the most appropriate to carry out said investigation. Then, the methodology used is described, making specific reference to the type of methodology applied and its approach. In addition, the techniques and instruments for collecting information on the degree work are described, among which are the interview, the survey, the pre-test, post-test, among others. Also, the planning and implementation processes of the educational and pedagogical solution alternatives proposed to solve the research problem are evidenced. At this point, each of the pedagogical sessions carried out with the students through synchronous meetings mediated by the use of ICTs and specifically of the ZOOM platform are described in detail. The work starts from a review of global environmental policies to establish the starting point for policies in Colombia. Then a review of the environmental and educational policies of Colombia was made, to know its position regarding the implementation of environmental education and its applicability to address the environmental problems of the region, where school institutions have the responsibility to build and develop the Institutional School Project that hereinafter we will call PEI and the School Environmental Project or PRAE, around what is stated in the policies. Methodologically, the research was done under the qualitative research paradigm through documentary analysis and the interpretation of the Institution's documents. To support the results of the documentary analysis, the voices of the students were added through the application of a survey that allowed their perceptions of AP to emerge from the guidelines established by institutional documents, objects of this research. The results allowed analyzing the appropriation of environmental policies in the PEI and the PRAE that support culture and environmental education for life. In the current pedagogical world there are varied experiences worldwide and nationally that show widely the importance of incorporating ICTs to support educational processes from school contexts such as colleges and universities. These technological mediations have become an educational priority, however, they must be used appropriately; The new communication technologies not only provide entertainment but also allow us to expand the range and quality of the information we can access. For this reason, it is very important to generate higher levels of reading comprehension supported by ICTs from the school context, guiding students towards the criticality and discernment of the information that comes to their hands. This research space is an opportunity to publicize a new educational experience in the teaching and learning of reading skills through the use of ICT tools as a teaching strategy, in the 11th grade students of the Teresita Montes Educational Institution of the city from Armenia, as a contribution to strengthen communication skills. On the other hand, the contributions provided by this research work seek to generate a process of reflection in the teachers about the type of methodology used in their pedagogical practice through the implementation of it seeks to bring the class to the vital context of the student with the intention pedagogical of learning by playing, providing other opportunities for contextualized and meaningful learning. The inclusion of ICT for the strengthening of communication skills in orality, reading and writing will be extended to different areas of knowledge as innovative teaching strategies that allow flexibility and curricular adaptation in the work with students.
