Ítem Diseño de un plan de negocio para una unidad económica de base tecnológica, desde la patente “Plataforma Portable para la rehabilitación de la locomoción”(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2023-10-04) Lozano Vargas, Dumar Fabian; Vargas Hernández, Elkyn Mauricio; Barrera Gómez, Marien Roció; Alfonso Díaz, Iván David; Universidad Santo Tomás TunjaThe research presented in this work sheds light on spinoff strategies in Colombia and their ability to generate value from patents, focusing on the case of the Santo Tomás Tunja University and its portable platform. Key findings highlight the importance of spinoff typologies 3 and 4, which involve greater collaboration with the university, as the most suitable for realizing the potential of the patent, suggesting that more integrated spinoff strategies are essential for a sustainable success in the Colombian context. A critical point highlighted is the determining influence of the negotiation terms on the success of any spinoff approach, regardless of its typology. The quality and effectiveness of negotiations with the business partner are essential to translate latent potential into tangible results. Well-structured negotiation terms, addressing issues such as intellectual property and shared benefits, are essential for a successful and sustainable spinoff. The results have strategic implications for the Universidad Santo Tomás Tunja and the technology transfer landscape in Colombia, providing valuable guidance to maximize the value of patents and intellectual assets. In addition, they offer an enriching perspective for government policies related to innovation. This research also establishes a solid foundation for future research, exploring the relationship between spinoff typologies, institutional capabilities, and economic and social outcomes, as well as the role of strategic negotiations in optimizing spinoffs and collaboration between academic and commercial actors. Ultimately, it contributes to the understanding of how organizations can translate innovation into tangible results in the Colombian context.Ítem Plan de negocios para la comercialización de proteína animal La Castillana en la ciudad de Cali - Valle del Cauca(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2023-08-11) Castilla Gomez, Olga Cristina; Angarita Moncada, Diego AndresThis paper focuses on the design of a business plan for a business that sells high-quality and fresh vacuum-packed meat products. Collective action allows access to production factors, reduces risks, and shortens distribution channels; allows direct contact with consumers by reducing the action of intermediaries, allows producers to carry out a series of actions such as improving processes, learning new techniques, accessing credit promotion and strengthening through institutions. The organization is a means to insert itself in a favorable and fairer way in the market, identifying its competitive potential. Associations are fundamental actors for the development of the region and country, because they contribute to the generation of family income, rural jobs and sustainable management of natural resources. It is relevant not only that these initiatives be managed, but that they must be strengthened in associative and business schemes. What elements must be strengthened to be an organized association that can be sustained over time?Ítem Diseño de estrategias para el mejoramiento de la gestión financiera de la empresa SETROC S.A.S: un estudio de caso(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2021-10-07) Rovira Contreras, German; Duran Plazas, Yerlith Adriana; Fajardo Ortiz, Eddy Johanna; Romero, HéctorThe objective of this degree work is to design strategies for the improvement of the financial management of the company SETROC S.A.S.
