    Guía para la modernización de la protección diferencial de barras en una subestación de 500 kV. Aplicando Scrum

    The "Guide for the modernization of bus differential protection in a 500 kV substation. Applying Scrum" is a monograph that presents a project to modernize the bus differential relay (ANSI 87B) in an electrical substation using the agile Scrum methodology. The authors propose to apply Scrum to improve the efficiency and control of the project, minimizing interruptions to guarantee stability in the electrical service network in Colombia. The content of the document includes an introduction to the electrical power system and the importance of substations, a business case analysis, the planning and execution of Sprints, and the management and control of the project using tools such as the Burndown Chart. The activities and roles within the Scrum team are detailed, as well as the user stories and technical acceptance criteria. The project is structured in 10 Sprints, each lasting 8 days, and focuses on the installation and testing of the new bus differential protection equipment. The Scrum methodology allows for iterative and incremental execution, optimizing times and costs, ensuring stability for the continuity of the electrical service given the importance of a substation of this voltage level for the Colombian electrical system. The conclusions highlight the viability of applying this type of agile methodologies in electrical infrastructure modernization projects, highlighting the flexibility and efficiency that Scrum offers in the management of complex projects.

The objective is to propose a strengthening program based on best practices within the logical framework approach to improve infrastructure, coach training, and player development. The method involves participatory diagnostics, identifying needs, and formulating sustainable strategies. The results include the creation of a strategic roadmap to optimize resource management and foster institutional cooperation. Discussions emphasize the importance of interinstitutional collaboration and program sustainability for the positioning of chess as an educational and sports tool in Santander.

    This degree project seeks to design a project management office (PMO) for the company CDI, which has a 28-year history providing engineering, construction and audit services in the industrial sector of Mamonal in the city of Cartagena, in the civil, mechanical, electrical, industrial instrumentation and thermal insulation disciplines. In this process of almost three decades, we have seen the need to standardize the procedures through which CDI carries out its projects, seeking to optimize the available resources and the profits obtained, while providing quality and support to our clients, Generally, the CDI company serves companies that specialize in the manufacturing of raw materials, but that have major shortcomings in project management, so that in most cases the projects that are developed within our clients have flaws in their approaches. initials. or they have unhealthy architecture, which forces us as a service provider to guide them and at the same time be able to plan strategies that allow us to execute the projects in the best viable way. In this sense, the general goal was to design a project management office (PMO) for the company CDI SA in business reorganization, with the purpose of proposing a model for project management under the guidelines of Pmbok 6th edition.     Creación de un modelo educativo inclusivo para personas con discapacidad cognitiva en la educación continua de la Universidad Javeriana: promoviendo la equidad y la inclusión mediante el Marco Lógico

    This work focuses on the creation of an inclusive educational model for people with cognitive disabilities in continuing education at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. The main objective is to develop a model that allows educational programs to be adapted to the specific needs of these students, ensuring their inclusion and participation in the learning process. To do so, a literature review was conducted, interviews were held with experts in inclusive education, and a case study analysis was performed. The results indicate that the proposed model facilitates curricular and pedagogical adaptation, which improves accessibility and academic performance of students with cognitive disabilities. The relevance of continuing teacher training to implement inclusive strategies in the educational field is also addressed.

    Formulación de un proyecto con metodología de marco lógico para el diseño de un vivero de especies vegetales del páramo Santurbán - Berlín, Santander, Colombia

    The project for the design and formulation of a nursery for native species of the Santurbán páramo in Colombia aims to contribute to the conservation and restoration of this critical ecosystem through the production and propagation of native plants. The study is based on the logical framework methodology to structure a clear and efficient action plan, which includes the identification of priority plant species, the selection of the site for the nursery, and the design of the necessary facilities. The problem addressed is the degradation of the Santurbán páramo, an essential ecosystem for water regulation and biodiversity, threatened by human activities such as mining and agriculture. The specific objective is to design a nursery that enables the sustainable production of native species for their reintroduction into affected areas, improving the resilience of the páramo. The method employed includes a detailed diagnosis of the area's conditions, the identification of key species for restoration, and the planning of the nursery based on ecological and technical criteria. The results highlight the project's feasibility, emphasizing the need for inter-institutional collaboration and community involvement for its success. The main discussions focus on the challenges of implementing the nursery in a high mountain environment, the importance of a participatory approach to ensure long-term sustainability, and the potential of the nursery as a model for similar initiatives in other páramos in Colombia.

    Propuesta de plan de negocio para la comercialización del café geisha, producido en la finca Puesta de Sol, Ubicada en el municipio de Timbío – Cauca utilizando el marco de referencia Scrum

    Geisha coffee is one of the most exclusive and valued varieties in the international market due to its exceptional sensory profile and quality. In Colombia, its production has been increasing, providing new opportunities for coffee growers seeking to differentiate themselves in a highly competitive environment. In this context, the Puesta de Sol farm, located in Timbío – Cauca, has ventured into cultivating Geisha coffee with the goal of positioning its product in specialized markets. This thesis aims to design a business plan proposal for the commercialization of Geisha coffee produced at Puesta de Sol farm, using the Scrum framework. Scrum methodology, commonly applied in agile project development, is adapted in this study to structure a dynamic and flexible process that allows for iterative and efficient validation of marketing strategies. The development of the business plan includes an environmental analysis, identification of the target market, value proposition, cost structure, and marketing strategies. Additionally, work cycles based on Scrum are established, facilitating adaptation to changes and improving decision-making at each stage of the process. The results of this study will provide Puesta de Sol farm with a clear and structured roadmap for marketing its Geisha coffee, optimizing resources, and maximizing competitiveness. Furthermore, this approach can serve as a reference for other coffee producers in the region who wish to implement agile and efficient marketing strategies.

    The present document was established with the purpose of explore the problem found in the companies in Colombia related with the adoption of organizational cultural models that integrate the care of people and the management in Security and Health at work like a fundamental element, this has an impact in high prevalence rates of occupational disease and work accidents; in this reason was considered as an general objective, defined as a project: “Formulate a cultural model that be aligned with the legal requirements in safety and health at work “SST” and others methodologies with international recognition for the occupational risk management, that allow decrease the occurrence of injuries and disease in the workers in the PYMES of manufacturing sector in Colombia”. As a method was defined a qualitative study of the legal requirements in security and health in Colombia, good practices recognized internationally for the SST management and organizational cultural models, searching as result the formulation of a cultural model that integrates these elements and that be easy adoption for the companies PYME in the country and permits improvement the management of the companies with positive impacts in the rates of occupational accidents and diseases.

    Propuesta de suministro de la alimentación escolar con enfoque cultural dirigido a las instituciones educativas urbanas y rurales en los municipios del Departamento del Vichada

    The present work aimed to the problem in the Department of Vichada, school feeding projects are periodically carried out aimed at students who are studying in rural an urban areas, within this execution the operator is obliged to serve a differential menu that is aimed at groups of boys and girls identified with and without ethnic belonging, but within this minute called “differential minute”, supported by the standardized guidelines of the Ministry of National and adjusted to the needs of each region, 100% compliance is not evident. Of its objective for not being focused on the cultural habits of the Department of Vichada, leading to greater food waste, poo appetite, rejection of food because it is not from their own culture, families stop growing their food indigenous since it is not a requirement in the minutes, the economy of their culture will decline as they have no one to sell their products to; in this sense, the general objective was proposed to “Formulate a proposal for the supplies of school meals in prioritized educational centers with a focus on the food culture of the region in the department of Vichada”. As a method, it was proposed to develop a proposal that strengthens a more suitable culture, opening space for opportunity, for a local economic increase in each region, which allowed obtaining as the main result the development of the proposal with a focus on the food culture of the region in the Department of Vichada, where it was established in the discussions that, mainly, the development of the proposal worked not only operators were invited to develop it but also interested entities to have a change with social impact during its execution throughout the department.

    This study addresses the issue of declining heavy crude oil production in advanced oil recovery practices, such as water injection through injector wells, particularly in mature fields in Colombia. The drop in reservoir pressure has led to a reduction in production. The main objective is to demonstrate the advantages of converting depleted production wells into injector wells to extend and enhance the production cycle in these mature fields. The implemented method includes petrophysical, engineering, and reservoir analysis aimed at improving productivity through water injection, while also reducing costs associated with the treatment and discharge of water into rivers and other bodies of water. The results show high efficiency in oil production in nearby wells and optimization in resource usage for the treatment of remaining water. Based on these results, the need to standardize the process using the PMBOK, Sixth Edition, best practices is emphasized. The discussion focuses on the relevance of this guide to maximize standards in the conversión of depleted production wells into water injector wells in the Castilla field and its potential as a reference in the Colombian oil industry. This study contributes to the knowledge of new conversión techniques in mature fields, with the aim of extending the productive life of nearby wells in five-spot patterns and establishing a solid foundation for future research in the hydrocarbon sector in Colombia.

    Formulación de un plan comercial para la asociación de caficultores de La Palma, siguiendo los lineamientos del marco de trabajo SCRUM

    The Association of Coffee Growers of La Palma (ASOPARIBARI), founded in 2005 and composed of 53 victims of the armed conflict in Colombia, faces a significant challenge in marketing its high-quality coffee, limiting its access to new markets. This project addressed the issues faced by ASOPARIBARI, which, despite having 1,204 hectares of coffee cultivated, has not maximized its sales potential. Therefore, the objective was to formulate a commercial plan for the Association of Coffee Growers of La Palma, applying the Scrum framework to increase the organization's sales and profitability. The application SCRUM will allow the team to quickly adapt to market changes and customer needs, which is important in the coffee industry where trends can change quickly. In turn, through retrospectives, the team will identify areas for improvement in the production and export process, leading to greater efficiency and quality in the product. By optimizing its processes and establishing strategic alliances, ASOPARIBARI could not only boost its sales but also contribute to job creation in the region, enhancing the municipality's recognition for its agricultural production. This collaborative and flexible approach is essential for the Association to overcome its current limitations and seize opportunities in the coffee markets of Cundinamarca and Colombia.

    Formulación de plan de proyecto para la obtención de registro calificado del programa Ingeniería de Sistemas en modalidad a distancia en la Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios en Bucaramanga, Santander con el marco PMBOK v6

    The present project was designed to address the challenges faced by UNIMINUTO at the Bucaramanga University Center in obtaining qualified registrations for distance learning programs. These challenges were due to rework, cost overruns, and delays caused by inconsistent information delivery and the lack of effective project management. The main objective was to formulate a project plan based on the sixth edition of the PMBOK framework to meet the criteria established by the Ministry of National Education, optimizing time, costs, and quality. The method used included an analysis of the PMBOK knowledge areas and focus groups with stakeholders to define deliverables, responsibilities, and effective communication mechanisms. The results led to the development of a project plan that defines the scope, stakeholder engagement, effective communication, resources, procurement, schedule, costs, and project quality, as well as the appointment of a leader with authority to coordinate activities. The main discussion highlights the importance of structured management based on best practices to increase the likelihood of success in complex projects within the educational sector. It is concluded that the implementation of the formulated plan strengthens the capacity of the Bucaramanga university center to obtain qualified registrations efficiently and effectively.

    Procedimiento para el Monitoreo y Control de Proyectos de TI en la Oficina de TIC del Departamento de Santander, Alineada con Estándares Internacionales de Gestión de Proyectos

    The present research addresses the fundamental issue of optimising monitoring and control processes for IT projects within the Tic Office of the Santander Governorship. This study was conducted through an analysis encompassing three key dimensions. Firstly, a comprehensive assessment of organisational maturity was carried out, followed by a benchmarking of the main project management methodologies, culminating in the development of a procedure based on international best practices. The findings revealed a maturity level ranging from initial to intermediate in project management, identifying the PMI (PMBOK) methodological framework as the most suitable alternative for the specific organisational context. As a tangible outcome of this research, a comprehensive procedure was designed, incorporating the best practices of PMBOK, adapted to the particular needs and characteristics of the entity in question.

    The company Strategika Ltda. develops consulting services in three main areas: Consulting, Auditing, and Business Training, operating through project management, which faces significant challenges due to the inconsistent use of methodologies, lack of standardization in practices, and inadequate knowledge and risks management. These problems lead to inefficiencies and delays, further intensified by a limited staff and increased demand for services. The scarcity of resources affects the capacity to continuously monitor and manage projects, overloading the current team and affecting the quality and efficiency of projects. Regarding this situation, there is an identified need to formulate a project plan for implementing a Project Management Office (PMO) at Strategika Ltda., based on the guidelines of the PMBOK® Sixth Edition. This implementation encompasses the process groups of planning, initiation, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing, as well as the processes of each knowledge area, allowing for standardization and performance improvement in project management within the organization. This effort not only aims to demonstrate that the implementation of a PMO goes beyond simply hiring qualified personnel; requiring a thorough diagnostic, evaluation, and planning process to ensure its success and achieve effective control and monitoring but will also serve to apply and demonstrate the knowledge acquired throughout the master's degree in project management and Direction

    The design and construction of water supply networks face significant challenges due to traditional management approaches, which used to be rigid and sequential. This study proposes the implementation of agile methodologies in the design of water supply networks, specifically for the Paraíso Campestre project in Monteria, aiming to transform the management and execution of such projects. The main objective of this work is to develop a practical model based on agile methodologies, which, through iterative and incremental cycles (sprints), allows better team coordination, timely response to changes, and optimization of time and resources. The methodology includes geotechnical and topographical studies to ensure a design aligned with technical regulations (RAS 2000) and the characteristics of the terrain, guaranteeing sustainability and functionality. Additionally, a reduction in delivery times, greater adaptability, and high-quality designs that strengthen water infrastructure and build user confidence are expected. This approach promotes more resilient and efficient networks, contributing to the sustainable development of the water sector. Likewise, it highlights how the application of agile methodologies can transform the planning and execution of infrastructure projects, optimizing investments and improving stakeholder satisfaction.     Marco Ágil Para Aportar Una Herramienta En El Manejo De Pacientes Deshabituación Tabáquica En Una Clínica

    Problem: Smoking cessation represents a critical public health challenge requiring adaptive, personalized, and evidence-based interventions. Objective: To design and implement a clinical protocol for managing patients undergoing smoking cessation using agile methodologies. Method: Scrum was used as an agile framework, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, flexibility, and incremental deliveries. Two key sprints were defined: initial assessment, which includes diagnostic forms and emotional support strategies, and the development of a core clinical protocol integrating personalized guides, educational materials, key performance indicators, and digital monitoring systems. Results: Functional deliverables were achieved in each sprint, ensuring alignment with project objectives. Interaction between clinical professionals and patients was enhanced, optimizing treatments through continuous feedback. Discussion: The application of Scrum proved effective in clinical contexts, allowing iterative adjustments and scalable solutions. This approach not only delivers incremental value to patients but also establishes a replicable model for other healthcare institutions.

    Aplicación del Marco Scrum para la mejora organizacional del restaurante punto rico en el área de cocina y servicio al cliente

    The objective of this monograph was the formulation of a proposal based on the implementation of the human resources management process, for the organizational improvement of the Punto Rico restaurant, applying knowledge and principles of the agile SCRUM methodology. Likewise, a review of the current regulations in Colombia regarding the operation of restaurants was carried out, theoretical-methodological guidelines of SCRUM were identified and the possible positive effects were projected. An internal analysis of the organization was also carried out, the results of which show some shortcomings and opportunities for improvement to allow adequate control and management in the kitchen process and restaurant services. By applying the principles of the agile SCRUM methodology, the improvement of sales profitability compared to the previous year is sought, compared to conventional or traditional planning, which would show a high-impact effect on profitability, cost and benefit for the Punto Rico restaurant in the city of Sogamoso, Boyacá.

    Modelo metodológico bajo enfoque scrum para proyectos de energías renovables en infraestructuras públicas

    Climate change and the need for sustainability have driven the adoption of renewable energies in public infrastructure, highlighting management and adaptability challenges. This paper proposes a SCRUM-based methodological model for efficiently implementing renewable energy projects in public infrastructure, focusing on photovoltaic systems. The model breaks down the project into incremental deliveries organized into sprints, emphasizing adaptability, collaboration, and continuous value delivery. A business case assessed the technical, economic, and legal feasibility of the photovoltaic system, yielding benefits such as reduced energy costs and CO₂ emissions. The results demonstrate SCRUM's effectiveness in managing complex projects, minimizing risks, and optimizing resources, while showcasing its potential as a replicable framework for sustainable public infrastructure initiatives.

    Implementación de un software de trazabilidad y gestión de activos en Colgas utilizando el enfoque Scrum

    The project focuses on implementing an optimized workflow for work order management at Colgas using the agile Scrum methodology and the Gexia system. Its objective is to centralize and automate key processes such as the creation, assignment, and closure of work orders, improving traceability, response times, and regulatory compliance in the LPG sector. The project includes initial technical configuration, data validation, and team training, consolidating an efficient and collaborative platform. Through a 15-day Sprint Zero, the technical and organizational foundations were established, including backlog prioritization and tool configuration. Subsequently, a single 15-day sprint focused on implementing critical functionalities prioritized in user stories, such as modules for technicians and supervisors. The process was monitored using performance indicators and burndown charts, utilizing visual tools like Trello to manage tasks. The results demonstrate that the Scrum methodology allows iterative adaptation to project needs, maximizing value delivery to the client and promoting a collaborative approach. The designed workflow optimizes resources, ensures order traceability, and contributes to a more efficient and reliable service for clients. This model stands out for its replicability in other organizational contexts, showcasing the positive impact of agile methodologies in regulated environments

    Desarrollo del diseño geotécnico de un puente vehicular aplicando enfoque ágil

    The objective of this proposal is to contribute to the development of the geotechnical designs of the mixed vehicular bridge in the “Lagos de Torca UF 5” project in Bogotá by implementing the execution of the design stage through the agile Scrum framework. The problem arises from the long times that the geotechnical design stage has in the construction of road infrastructure projects without generating early deliveries that contribute to the adequate completion of the requirements necessary to begin the construction of public works that improve the quality of life. of the citizens. The method is based on the scrum guide that is adaptable to this type of processes and that uses an iterative and incremental approach to optimize predictability and control risk. The results optimize the Geotechnical design stage in time and cost, making early value deliveries, to deliver a higher quality design during the progress of each sprint. The discussions take place in terms of project management and the use of traditional methodologies or agile work frameworks such as Scrum and the relevance of including them in this type of projects
