This study aimed to characterize a sample of Bogotá residents who engage in child-to-parent violence (CPV) using the Child-to-Parent Violence Risk Assessment Guide (CPVRAG), which made it possible to identify and describe the risk and protective factors present in this population. The sample consisted of 61 offenders between 13 and 40 years old, for whom 30 factors classified into five categories were evaluated. The assessment process was conducted individually and involved semi-structured interviews, as well as the administration, systematization, and interpretation of 23 psychological tests. Descriptive and exploratory analyses were carried out through Cluster Analysis and Multiple Correspondence Analysis, revealing that most of the proposed variables, factors, and categories were statistically significant within the Bogotá population. Additionally, the following emergent factors were identified: parenting styles of the offenders’ parents/caregivers and offenders’ histories of complaints unrelated to CPV. These findings made it possible to identify CPV-related factors present among Bogotá residents, highlighting bidirectionality, violent behavior across different contexts, personality styles, psychopathological symptomatology, low frustration tolerance, impulsivity, negative self-esteem, psychoactive substance use, and antisocial behaviors, among other variables. This study serves as a foundation for future research aimed at strengthening the assessment and risk management of this phenomenon.

This study addresses social representations of special indigenous jurisdiction and sexual violence in the Sande Indigenous Reserve, which belongs to the Awá people—descendants of the ancestral Mayas and Sindawas—and is geographically located in the municipality of Santacruz, in the department of Nariño (Colombia). Elements of the participatory action research (PAR) methodological design were adopted to approach the issue alongside members of the indigenous community, with the aim of creating spaces for the community to share their opinions, beliefs, and collective actions in response to situations of sexual violence. Several cases were identified in which the rights of the most vulnerable prevailed, through the application of customary laws and ancestral traditions, with particular emphasis on the value of victims’ testimonies. The study also highlights the high level of resilience that has contributed to strengthening their system of justice and self-governance.

At present, the condition of vulnerability of Latin American indigenous communities is widely recognized, particularly regarding the guarantee of their members’ fundamental rights and the high levels of poverty, discrimination, and violence to which they are exposed. Indigenous women, in particular, face various individual, family, social, and cultural risk factors that increase the likelihood of experiencing different forms of violence. This situation has become a highly prevalent social and public health issue of significant concern. The present study conducted a scoping review of the literature with the aim of providing an overview of the methods, findings, and implications related to the identification of risk and protective factors associated with victimization by violence among indigenous women in Latin America. It also seeks to synthesize empirical evidence that contributes to a better understanding of this phenomenon and supports the design of public policies aimed at preventing violence against indigenous women. Based on a systematic literature search across six databases, 71 research articles conducted in the Latin American context were selected. These studies made it possible to identify differential risk factors according to the individual, family, social, and cultural characteristics of this population group. The findings are discussed in terms of their implications for the interdisciplinary understanding of this phenomenon, as well as the support that this evidence can provide for the development of public policies aimed at mitigating the various forms of violence experienced by women in these communities.

This research was based on the Deese-Roediger-McDermott (drm) paradigm in order to establish the effect that the presentation of a set of words semantically associated with each other has on memory and recognition in boys and girls. Thirty children between 7 and 8 years of age, in the second and third grades of primary school, were divided into two groups: the first group was given three lists of words, each composed of 11 items semantically associated with a critical word; the second group was presented with 3 lists without any semantic association.

The subjection to harm proposed from the episteme of victimhood1 transcends the legal figures of the victim and the victimizer, in particular, it overcomes the punitive legal model, in which punishment is revealed as the result of a crime and a penalty to be imposed. In the episteme of victimhood, victims are subjected to ontological harm as sub-survivors, a prefix that means that they are placed below the conditions of existence and the projection of life that they had before the harm was inflicted on them. they had before the harm caused to them.

It is feasible within humanistic work to think about the actors of interaction or social intervention. There are always qualified people or experts who work with educators, parents and children to overcome deficiencies, problems, needs, symptoms and a series of other difficulties, but at the same time it is necessary to think that this same relationship takes place in the positive dimension of the child as a subject, since he is a being full of possibilities and opportunities for his own development, and therefore we must learn to listen to him and respect his tastes and decisions.

One of the spaces that has the greatest impact on the formation of the child is the school, and precisely within this the educator plays a primordial role to the extent that he becomes one of the child's models and intervenes on him by means of pedagogical acts, speech acts and behaviors that the child can imitate. Focusing on the subject of the educator-child relationship places us in the framework of the educational task, in the formation of the child's personality and his or her basis as a citizen.
