    This study aimed to strengthen reading skills in second-grade students at the Julio Pérez Ferrero School in Cúcuta, Colombia, through the implementation of a teaching strategy based on micro-stories. A quasi-experimental design with a control group and an experimental group was used, applying standardized tests before and after the intervention to measure reading comprehension at the literal, inferential, and critical levels. The findings indicated significant improvements in the experimental group across all dimensions evaluated, with a 149% increase in overall reading comprehension performance. The use of micro-stories stimulated critical thinking, inference, and interest in reading among the students, demonstrating the potential of this methodology to overcome educational gaps in vulnerable contexts. This study provides valuable knowledge for pedagogical practice and suggests the inclusion of playful and brief resources in the basic education curriculum.

    The purpose of this research is to create a teaching strategy focused on the topic of anthropogenic threats. It seeks to develop reflective and environmentally conscious thinking among primary school children through a close study of the environmental problems that manifest in their territories and communities. To achieve this, the following steps were taken to meet specific objectives. First, the analysis of documents related to anthropogenic threats highlights fires, pollution, and accidents. This analysis focused on definitions, causes, consequences, and forms of prevention not only in the school environment but also in the community at large. Second, the teaching strategy was designed through an online platform. This strategy was organized with definitions of threats and their main characteristics. Interactive activities were also created to strengthen skills and competencies in risk prevention. Finally, both public and private educational institutions are expected to use this educational resource to strengthen the skills and competences of fourth and fifth grade children and thus counter the impact of human-caused threats.

    The present academic work asserts the existence of a political proposal within the joint oeuvre of the French philosophers Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari, which is termed Nomad Politics. To support this hypothesis, the book "Capitalism and Schizophrenia II: A Thousand Plateaus" (2002) is used as a reference framework, along with works by commentators such as David Lapoujade (2016), Guillaume Sibertin-Blanc (2017), Martin Chicolino (2021), and Gustavo Chirolla (2005). Similarly, the concepts of Rhizome, Earth, State, Nomadology, and War Machine are defined from the perspective of both French authors.

    One of the challenges that we teachers face in this new era of training, without a doubt, is to successfully address the educational needs of some of our students, in particular, those who are diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (known by its acronym as ADHD), which are increasingly taking an important position in the classrooms of Ibero-America. For this reason, it is urgent to investigate within the literature, about those strategies that guide towards improvement in the basic processes of learning, specifically, in the case of reading comprehension, for schoolchildren who present this type of disorder. One of the strategies that could be implemented to allow progress in the reading comprehension process in students diagnosed with ADHD is the use of pictograms. The purpose of this work is to present a series of steps that describe a methodology, presenting the use of pictograms as a theoretical-practical axis that will help meet the established objective.

    This work shows how mobile technologies and virtual tools can be made compatible with academic training, especially with formative assessment in the area of Spanish Language and Literature. It presents a log of the selection of virtual platforms delimiting them under criteria such as compatibility with mobile technologies, age of use, associated search engines, ease of access and use, online or offline functionality, free or paid, and adaptability to the evaluative needs according to the competencies that are intended to be enhanced.

    Through the compilation, reading and analysis of a series of research articles that talk about the process of phonological awareness and emerging literacy in Colombia, we seek to make a comparison between these documents and delimit the importance and impact that they have had on the populations where the investigations were given. 12 research articles developed in different parts of the country are shown, finding some similarities among them, which in some way shows the deficiencies in phonological awareness and how emerging literacy helps in better development for reading and writing comprehension in children from 4 to 6 years; which also allows us to infer how this problem is treated in public and private educational institutions in our country.

    The sung narratives of milking and herding songs belong to the Plain Land Works Songs of Colombian and Venezuelan Orinoquia, recognized as National Immaterial Patrimony of Colombia and Humanity Immaterial Patrimony by UNESCO. These narratives consist of own cultural manifestations of the llanero town, which have been conveyed along generations through a vast oral tradition, and it saves a close relationship with the agricultural and cattle raising activities developed in the llanera region since the colonial period. This study proposes a recovery of the milking and herding songs at Maní (Casanare), the epicenter of llanero folklore, from recommendations established by the Plan Especial de Salvaguardia that indicates the need of advancing urgent actions for preserving and conveying these cultural expressions. In this way, this investigation proposes a qualitative methodology in which, through semi-structured interviews and an ethnographic inquiry with local experts, it is presented a pedagogical instrument design that allows contact between new generations and oral traditions through the literature and Spanish language subject, into the scholarly context. In this manner, this project locates its action core in the didactic of cultural manifestations, propitiating a direct link between bearers of living memory and the academic community, promoting and strengthening cultural identity.

    Throughout history, multiple studies have been carried out on the reading and writing practices that human beings develop, in these, authors such as Barton, Cassany, Hamilton and Ivanic and Flower and Hayes from a psychocognitive perspective of language conceive them from a sociocultural approach, in which reading and writing are understood as an expression of the multiple social practices that occur in the particular context of the human being. In writing, for example, it is stated that the author does not act limited to his individual capacity, but that there are various elements that arise from social interaction with his community and his experiences, which together provide tools for his creations; consequently, the family, social and cultural environment that surrounds an individual influences the construction of his world view and expression of his ideas. In this sense, it is imperative to guide the teaching and learning processes in the classroom so that the student can develop skills that are useful to function in society and mainly to exercise their citizenship. It is worth mentioning that in the first levels of primary school, one of the fundamental purposes is to improve writing processes compared to the formal, in other words, although it is intended to develop skills from the sociocultural perspective, in the initial phase the cognitive approach prevails over the which the present work is proposed.

    The present research project entitled: Strengthening reading comprehension in Spanish through the creation of OVAS for students of 4° grade of the San Luis Beltrán Franciscan College of Santa Marta, Colombia; had as scientific intention to strengthen reading comprehension in students of grade 4° of primary in the framework of the teaching of the Spanish Language through the didactic strategy based on OVAS, since the students had deficiencies in the levels of reading comprehension evaluated in the institutional diagnostic tests and in the Pre-test research instrument. Supported by a variety of authors such as Camarillo, Silva and Romero (2021), Murillo and Martinez (2020), Vásquez (2021), García (2015), Sarmiento (2021), and others, it was developed under the perspective offered by the qualitative approach, in order to contribute to the context from Action Research, which allowed the strengthening of reading skills from the application of instruments such as Pre-test and Post-test, the survey of students and teachers and Virtual Learning Objects. From this research, the result was the strengthening of the literal and inferential levels, since through the OVAS the barriers of linear and monotonous reading exercises from the classroom were overcome, achieved significant progress at both levels of reading comprehension.

    The children's reading club is an investigation that was carried out in the Venceremos Rural School located 32.7 kilometers from the urban center of the municipality of Zapatoca, Santander; the school has a multigrade classroom that is used to provide educational services to eleven preschool and elementary school students between the ages of six and eleven years old. The multigrade school is generally present in the most remote areas, where the precariousness of its infrastructure, the lack of didactic material to work with students and the usual absence of library resources are a constant challenge for the teaching-learning process, reason why children have little access to reading as a free and pleasant experience; that is why the idea of forming a reading club to improve the reader-text relationship arises. With the purpose of favoring a positive vision towards reading, a reading club was formed, based on children's literature as an animation strategy to stimulate it as a habitual practice among students, through seventeen sessions in which structured workshops were applied based on the moments proposed by Solé, under the methodology of the community of inquiry.
