Religious syncretism involves the blending of rituals and worldviews that aim to preserve a primitive consciousness through symbolic anchors, generally Catholic. This phenomenon is evident in the municipality of San Agustín – Huila and poses an obstacle to the understanding and assimilation of an authentically Christian lifestyle. It was evident that popular religiosity alternates and merges Catholic piety acts with superstitious practices of shamanic origin. This reality, in the mission of evangelization, is a cultural phenomenon deeply rooted in ancestral traditions, requiring a serene dialogue between faith and culture. Consequently, there is a need to instill in the consciousness of Catholic faithful criteria for discernment that shape the thinking of a baptized person to overcome natural religiosity by distinguishing it from true acts of faith. This paves the way for inner purification based on the objectivity of Truth and Love

This research addresses the way in which economic theology dialogues with the development framework of restorative justice in Colombia and the search for peace. The internal armed conflict in Colombia has led to the violation of human rights and loss of human life. It is important that the perpetrators and the State contribute to strength restorative justice, as a measure of dignity towards the victims. As a methodological support, the qualitative research paradigm with an hermeneutical approach will be used so that an adequate approach to the phenomenon under study can be had and to be able to explain it. From economic theology it is possible to enhance the existing relationship between justice and the economy, in such a way that the challenges faced by the implementation of the peace agreements in Colombia can be faced, particularly in relation to transitional justice. Among the main conclusions, it is evident that restorative justice, as an intrinsic part of transitional justice, can be accompanied by the foundations and concepts of economic theology which, in turn, is illuminated by the Gospel of Jesus Christ to achieve peace, justice, inclusion and equity. On the other hand, it is also concluded that economic theology through values, principles and ethics, forms a fundamental part in the construction of a method that can contribute to the fulfillment of the objectives of restorative justice.

Thus, this article aims to frame educational pastoral care as a formation focused on human values and faith, taking as a reference the teachings of Pope Francis, for the promotion of a culture of peace. The methodology that has been used is critical hermeneutics, with a qualitative approach, to illuminate the reality of the secondary education students of the IEM Pedagogical, aiming to reveal the social problems of their environment, interpret them in the light of faith and point out the contributions that Pope Francis leaves to the educational ministry, to transform the scenes of dispute into places where a culture of peace can be built.

The research included a review of the institute’s curriculum, semi-structured interviews with 20 laypeople from different formative areas (Bible, Catechesis, Liturgy), and data triangulation to compare the official curriculum with its practical implementation and its connection to the strengthening of lay identity. The findings highlight positive aspects such as the Institutional Educational Project but also reveal discrepancies between the official and actual curriculum, emphasising the need for a more comprehensive curriculum to address current challenges. It is concluded that it is essential to review and update the educational proposal, focusing on a holistic and praxis-oriented lay identity, with a curricular foundation aligned with the local context, Critical Pedagogies, and Liberation Theology.

The Emphasis on the term “humanization” aims to highlight its significance within hospital institutions when caring for patients who suffer not only physically but also across various dimensions: social, familial, psychological, occupational, and spiritual. Although health institutions often have humanization programs that promote compassionate care with love and respect, this theoretical reality is not always evident in practice. This investigation delves into the reality perceived within healthcare institutions during the process of assisting a sick person, as there are instances of dehumanization by professionals. It also encourages those familiar with the concept to explore what Humanization truly entails, its scope, and its importance when supporting patients who suffer holistically. From a theological and ecclesial standpoint, with the assistance of professionals within the institution, we propose examining humanization through Christian values and the example set by Jesus. To achieve genuine humanization and recognize its importance, professionals must first view themselves as individuals rather than assuming a godlike role, setting aside egocentrism and the belief that their medical expertise grants control over the person they are treating.

The sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick has experienced different definitions throughout time from theological, liturgical and pastoral perspectives. These definitions lead to a modern reflection on the Sacrament since the Second Vatican Council, especially in its constitutions and decrees, which sought to return to the sacrament in its community dimension, giving hope, not as a private sacrament, in particular emphasizing the vitality of the sacrament as a sign of mercy and not a ritual for death. For this reflection, historical elements will be taken from the first theological and liturgical reflections to the present, from a pastoral theology in its sacramental dimension, which seek to strengthen the dignity and presence of the Anointing of the Sick in the sacramental life of the faithful. , mainly in the sick at the beginning of their illness or at any time in their life, also to families, emphasizing the experience of the sacrament as a possibility of spiritual maturation, leaving behind obsolete reflections of the sacrament as transitus for death as divine punishment .

Catholic educational institutions often fail to provide a life perspective rooted in spirituality, which limits significant societal change. In fact, many students complete their education without a solid understanding of Christian life and its relationship with humanity according to the Gospel. In this regard, this research aimed to identify the contribution of the educational pastoral proposal of Colegio Sagrado Corazón de Jesús – Hermanas Bethlemitas de Pereira to the integral formation of eleventh-grade students. For this purpose, this study was framed within the qualitative approach with a hermeneutic epistemological perspective of an ethnographic type. It involved 34 students aged between 15 and 17, using techniques such as observation, semi-structured interviews, and life histories. Among the most relevant results, it was found that the application of more dynamic and varied strategies is vitally important to maintain the students' interest, suggesting that the strategies should not focus exclusively on the Catholic religion but should allow an orientation on God's teachings from different doctrines. In conclusion, it is considered that an educational pastoral that involves daily life and its educational content can achieve a deeper understanding of Christian principles and foster significant spiritual and personal growth in students.

This article aims to provide valuable experiences within the implementation of the Chair of Peace, with the objective of reflecting the progress and difficulties that two Educational Institutions of Pasto, Nariño have presented in the process; however, educating for peace, and even more so in a region that continues to be a victim of as much violence as that of Nariño, becomes a fundamental strategy for the comprehensive training of students, with a view to strengthening their values and managing to project themselves towards a social transformation from a constructive, peaceful and tolerant perspective. For this purpose and within the framework of a hermeneutic methodology, this research was developed in two Educational Institutions, one of a confessional nature and the other not, to have a broader vision of the progress and difficulties that each of them presented in the implementation of the Chair of Peace, which they currently develop in their Institutional Educational Projects (PEI) and are transversally led by students and teachers, in different activities alluding to Peace and the conciliatory solution of intra-school conflicts; arriving at the conclusion that there is a great commitment on the part of these two schools, which contribute ingenious ideas so that peace becomes an essential part of all institutional training processes.

El Reconocimiento de la Presencia Divina: Una Propuesta Desde el Pensamiento de Gabriel Marcel y el Relato de los Discípulos de Emaús

The present work seeks to problematize the recourse to faith that is usually made in the interpretation of the Lucan story of the disciples through the thought of Gabriel Marcel. An interpretation of the biblical text is offered, using Gadamer's hermeneutic method, which helps to find a series of steps and experiences towards the recognition of the divine presence. The question about the recognition of the Risen Christ is the question about how to come to faith. In this task, Gabriel Marcel offers gnoseological and ontological support to understand those steps towards the recognition of the divine presence, which emerge from the main moments of the disciples' encounter with Jesus, helping to update the message of this biblical passage for our time.

Within the framework of research and with the purpose of growing in comprehensive formation through teaching, this project will contemplate, from a theological-pedagogical perspective, the analysis of those contributions that start from the Lasallian identity to the cultivation of the spiritual dimension of the teachers of the La Salle Institute (ILS) located in the center of the city of Barranquilla. Firstly, the relevance of this project is mentioned both for the Santo Tomás University from the Faculty of Education, specifically in the Theology Program, and for the teacher in training and the direct reader of this project, which, in summary, indicates the contribution of the changes and sense of belonging in the work, which is projected from the spiritual and marks the meaning of existence. At this point, the purpose of this research is made clear, that is, the meaning it has within the framework of the research and in some way what is intended when addressing this research topic. In this direction, the problematization of the research is exposed, which in this case is related to the solidity that teaching spiritual cultivation requires from the Lasallian identity, and the challenges that arise from there; Likewise, the general objective of the research is to analyze the contributions and challenges from the Lasallian identity to the cultivation of the spiritual dimension of the teachers of the ILS of Barranquilla. In addition to this, this research project shows a course of characterization of the population, subjects, context, until delimiting the problem that is synthesized in the discovery of what are these contributions and challenges that from the Lasallian identity are considered for the cultivation of the dimension spiritual teaching of the ILS teachers. From this, in each description of both background, that is, works or articles related to this research, the meaning of determining and 9 could not be lost sight of. link according to the base categories from the theological, the Lasallian identity being essential; As for pedagogy, the spiritual dimension of teaching, since in its normality, teacher training is mentioned in favor of students, and little is determined about their spiritual training; finally, the category of context that indicates the strategy of teaching spiritual cultivation, which becomes the central interest of this research when related to the signs of the times of the educator's exercise and the search for the teaching spiritual strategy. For this, it is important to take into account from the methodological design to implement the qualitative approach, starting from ethnographic research, which focuses “on the experiences of the daily lives of individuals and thus allows us to better understand existing social practices. The analysis is based on the discourse of the individuals who participate in these practices.” (Pro, 2022). In this way, contemplating a hermeneutical perspective whose instruments will be related to field diaries, audiovisual material, including photographs and videos; at the same time, the collection techniques associated with semi-structured interviews and focus groups. It should be noted that the type of research will be ethnographic, since it is conceived according to Anthony Giddens (2003) as “The direct study of people or groups during a certain period, using participant observation or interviews to understand their social behavior.” , a concept that converges with this project. (Martínez J. M., 2010). Likewise, this project will be supported by a compendium of theoretical references that will support the research and contribute to it; as well as, at the same time, have works that have preceded this project and that are related to it. Finally, the design of the training proposal for teachers will be systematically shown, in order to strengthen the spiritual dimension, as well as analysis of the interviews, 10 results and description of these. Therefore, the culmination of this research will be reached, confronting the contributions, challenges and dynamics to follow within the ILS, which commits from the dynamics of research and reflection to betting on change, the sense of adaptation and contribution from the different areas. of knowledge, also from religious interculturality and the disposition to do so. From this point, reflections arise regarding the problem presented at the beginning.
