(2024-11-06) Rincón Ruíz, Juan Pablo; Gutiérrez Romero, Diana Paola; Universidad Santo Tomás; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0001685748; https://scholar.google.com/citations?view_op=list_works&hl=es&authuser=1&user=Sgn8V2gAAAAJ; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/gruplac/jsp/visualiza/visualizagr.jsp?nro=00000000019947; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1397-3042
The Community Gardens project is being implemented in the Saman de la Rivera neighborhood, Villavicencio, with the goal of addressing issues such as food insecurity, lack of social cohesion, and environmental disconnection. Through the creation of a collaborative agricultural space, the project seeks to actively involve the community in the production of fresh, sustainable food while promoting ecological practices and environmental education. The project involves 30 families (approximately 120 people) from the neighborhood, who participate in the planning, planting, and maintenance of crops such as lettuce, tomato, bell pepper, cilantro, and mint. Workshops are conducted to train volunteers in techniques like sustainable gardening, pest control, and composting. The PDCA cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act) is also implemented as a continuous improvement tool to ensure the success of the project. During the verification phase, production results were measured, revealing that 85% of the tomato plants and 90% of the lettuces grew satisfactorily, with necessary adjustments made to fertilization and irrigation. Community participation averaged 70%, although fluctuations were noted and will be addressed in the adjustment phase. Based on the results, improvements were made, such as optimizing the irrigation system, redistributing crops, and enhancing volunteer training. The expected impact includes the improvement of food security within the community, the strengthening of social cohesion, and the creation of a culture of environmental sustainability, with projections to increase garden productivity by 15-20% in the next growing cycles. This project, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), lays the foundation for a greener and more resilient future for the Saman de la Rivera community.

The project aims to implement a 360 marketing plan for the company Burricos, which operates in the food sector in Villavicencio, Meta, in order to improve its visibility, commitment and interaction with customers. The justification lies in the need to improve brand recognition and interaction with customers in a highly competitive market. The main problem is the lack of a comprehensive marketing plan and the absence of presence on social networks, which limits contact with potential customers and affects sales. The general objective is to design a 360 marketing plan that improves the visibility, commitment and interaction of Burricos with its customers. Specific goals include increasing brand recognition, increasing social media engagement, and improving customer retention. The methodology combines qualitative and quantitative research, using surveys and interviews to understand customer needs and measure the impact of marketing strategies. A PHVA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) approach is proposed to improve quality and efficiency, along with the use of KPIs to evaluate the success of the strategy. Improvement proposals include optimizing delivery times, implementing digital marketing strategies and creating a website to facilitate customer access to information and online orders. With these actions, it is expected that Burricos can stand out in the market and achieve its growth and positioning objectives.

The Orinoquia region is experiencing notable growth in the agricultural sector, characterized by an exponential expansion thanks to the diversification and intensification of its agro-productive activities, which have physical and resource limitations if they are not developed sustainably. The objective of this study is to analyze the historical behavior of agricultural production in the departments of the Colombian Orinoquía region, to determine the projection of trend growth, accelerated and low growth, compared to the maximum expansion capacity of these activities in 2040 considering the agricultural frontier as a limiting factor. To carry out this research, two phases were carried out; first: use of the Tree of Science algorithm with the SCOPUS platform for the collection of high-impact scientific articles; second: the spatiotemporal analysis of agricultural production in the departments of Arauca, Casanare, Meta and Vichada, in the period from 2007 to 2040, based on data that were extracted from official data sources of the country. The results have allowed us to identify that the crops with the largest area currently planted are; banana (37.1%) and cocoa (21.5%) in Arauca, rice (65.6%) and oil palm (26.5%) in Casanare, oil palm (35.6%) and corn (16.4%) in Meta and finally oil palm (38.9%) and cashew (37.2%) in Vichada. Likewise, the departments with a greater tendency to increase future production are Meta and Casanare, which will cover 21.4% and 17.4% of their agricultural borders by 2040. In conclusion, agricultural development in the region is crucial and must consider the Agricultural Frontier. The statistical analysis highlights the relevance of oil palm among other crops and the need to promote sustainable practices for equitable and environmentally conscious development in the region.

To address the lack of visibility and brand recognition of Sociedad Arrocera SAS in the Meta department, specifically in the municipality of Acacias-Meta where the rice mill is located, it is proposed to implement a comprehensive marketing plan that combines both digital marketing and traditional marketing strategies. This 360-degree marketing approach aims to generate a constant presence across all available communication channels to reach the target audience. Data collection techniques and analysis of the current situation of the company will also be used, as it is a brand with high significance in the local market, generating employment opportunities in the area and seeking greater recognition through these strategies. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that the implemented actions are suitable for achieving the objectives. It is expected that through the implementation of this 360-degree marketing plan, Sociedad Arrocera SAS will improve its positioning in the market and increase its sales. Additionally, it is projected that these strategies will continue to generate positive results in the future, with a projection until the year 2025, where the company will be able to consolidate and strengthen its presence in the local market.

This study focuses on the space-time analysis of precipitation data obtained from satellite images within the CHIPRS program in the Orinoquia river basin, with the validation of these data using information from pluviometry stations provided by IDEAM. The justification for this research is grounded in the limited availability of fluviometric data in the study area, which poses challenges and opportunities in the context of regional agricultural production planning. For the methodology, historical data extraction was carried out from Chirps satellite images spanning from 1981 to 2022. A prior selection of 178 pluviometry stations meeting the 10% historical data requirement was also conducted. Subsequently, data validation was performed through the calculation of correlation coefficients, revealing that 56.18% of the data showed strong relationships. The coefficient of determination indicates that 49.44% of the points explain the model's variability with values ranging from 0.74 to 0.90. The applied error metrics indicate acceptable biases in 72 points, although significant underestimation is observed in 14 study points. The Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) reflects moderate errors for 52.81% of the points of interest, while the Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) shows low dispersion in 84.83% of the study points. Additionally, no significant differences were found that would invalidate satellite data compared to physical station measurements. However, significant differences are observed in the majority of study points during the months of July and October.

In this work, the case of the company “Mística, todo para la estética” is presented, which has been in the market for a little more than 10 years, it has a physical point in the city of Villavicencio and promotes its products through the social media Instagram, however, does not take into account any of the digital marketing strategies that currently exist, which is why its page, despite having many followers, does not have the expected customer interaction, for the same reason Mística's online sales or often the same knowledge of the company, depend on someone else's advertising. Here the general objective is to design an entire digital marketing strategy for Mística, where all the knowledge acquired in the Digital Marketing and Analytics diploma is applied; starting from the elaboration of the current diagnosis of the company to understand in depth its current marketing strategy and its impact, then the design of the digital media plan and, finally, proposing a system of KPI's to measure the progress of the proposed strategies. Some engineering tools were applied such as the SWOT matrix, Pestel analysis, Porter's 5 forces and the buyer persona profile. In addition to interviews with the company manager and a survey applied to current clients to find out their perception of the company. The results confirmed that Mística is wasting its online presence to reach more people and, in the same way, generate more sales.

In Colombia, in recent years there has been an increase in accidents related to working at height, this situation arises due to the deficiency in safety implementation, the lack of adequate training measures for personnel, the little knowledge about the risks associated with work at heights by workers and lack of availability of specialized tools or equipment to carry out work at height safely. It was identified that the lack of adequate preventive measures and effective rescue procedures are precipitating factors that can generate serious or fatal accidents, from this context arises the need to implement a structured and effective rescue plan, which not only complies with the established legal standards, but also guarantees the safety and well-being of those who perform work at height, as is the case of the personnel in charge of maintaining wells with reconditioning equipment at Independence Drilling located in the area of Castilla - Meta - Colombia. The background information collected in this research shows the frequency and severity of work accidents at heights, underlining the importance of having preventive measures and emergency protocols specifically adapted to the characteristics and risks of working in wells and of the company and personnel itself. This research seeks to address this problem, analyzing in detail the minimum requirements established by Colombian regulations, as well as the best international practices regarding safety in working at height, to update the Rescue Plan for working at height at INDEPENDENCE DRILLING so that it is effective. . , efficient and in accordance with the needs of the well maintenance sector in the region and in the event of accidents, the plan reduces the severity of the events.

Educational institutions are dynamic entities, which is why they should focus mainly on inviting reflection and at the same time instructing on the strategies for implementing recycling that should be carried out to preserve the environment. In the case of the department of Meta, the strategies of high social and environmental impact to implement these methodologies in educational institutions are unknown. In the municipality of Cumaral in the department of Meta (Colombia), the IE Teniente Cruz has a community of low economic resources, due to this, most of the students do not have the necessary resources to buy school supplies. Through different research methods, essential information was obtained for decision making, in which the Universidad Santo Tomás, through its research team, seeks to design functional prototypes of school supplies to serve the students of the educational institution Teniente Cruz, through clean energy. The manufacturing cycle of these elements consists of three stages: the first stage is based on the classification of recycled materials by the institution with a device for the selection and separation of paper, cardboard, glass and plastic; the second stage, transformation and reuse of PET plastic waste for the cutting and shaping of plastic; the third stage, own design with the help of the SolidWorks tool and printing of the prototypes of school supplies with the solar-powered Tairona XL dual extruder 3D printer.
