Ítem Inclusión de las Músicas Tradicionales Colombianas en la Universidad EAFIT y el Conservatorio del Tolima(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2025-02-05) Restrepo Atehortúa, Juan Pablo; Sánchez Rueda, Humberto; Universidad Santo Tomás; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0001491489; https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=es&user=GOLxLYIAAAAJ; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4542-8919When reflecting on the role that traditional art plays in our lives, it is natural that we quickly come across a flood of social causes, anti-colonialism, and the reconstruction of Colombian identity. It is also easy to fall into a debate paralysis when confronted with these broader, more figurative perspectives that go beyond practicality, and give up on reflection. In this document, I intend to address a practical part of the debate: the role of traditional Colombian music in higher education, specifically within EAFIT University in Medellín and the Tolima Conservatory in Ibagué. The proposal of this analysis is presented not as a complete image of the issue, but as a small sample space of institutions that, in different ways, are attempting to include traditional music in their context. This sample space reflects a situation that can be found in many institutions across the country that aim to do the same for their contexts.Ítem El Clima Social y Emocional en el Curso 703 del Colegio Técnico Municipal Francisco de Paula Santander - Duitama.(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2024-06-26) Joya Parra, Johan Ferney; Sosa Chinome, Jorge Andrés; Universidad Santo Tomas; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0000070800; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0002126864; https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=es&user=GUeFescAAAAJ; https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=es&user=4Ti9ni4AAAAJ; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0182-3597; https://orcid.org/0009-0007-5858-638This research proposal focuses on analyzing the social and emotional climate in class 703 at the Francisco de Paula Santander Municipal Technical School. Through a detailed research methodology, various aspects related to education and the emotional well-being of students in this specific context are explored. Initially, I present the problem statement, highlighting the importance of understanding and improving the social and emotional climate in the school environment to promote a conducive atmosphere for learning and the holistic development of students. The study's objectives focus on identifying the main characteristics of the social and emotional climate in class 703, as well as proposing effective strategies to strengthen this aspect within the educational community. Throughout the theoretical framework, I address key concepts related to emotional education, school coexistence, and the impact of a positive climate on academic performance and the well-being of students. Prior research supporting the relevance of promoting socio-emotional skills in the educational field is highlighted, establishing a solid theoretical basis to underpin the study. Utilizing a rigorous methodological approach, the research design, studied population, sample size, and data analysis techniques used to obtain significant results are described. Data will be collected through specific instruments that allow for an accurate assessment of the social and emotional climate in class 703, contributing to the generation of conclusions and recommendations grounded in empirical evidence. In summary, this study represents a valuable contribution to the field of emotional education by comprehensively addressing the social and emotional climate in a specific school context, providing a relevant angle for the continuous improvement of coexistence and the well-being of students at the Francisco de Paula Santander Municipal Technical School.Ítem Impacto de la Formación en Liderazgo Pedagógico en el Instituto Técnico Agrícola(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2024) Puentes Chaparro, Martha Lucia; Quintero Carvajalino, Ariani María; Sánchez, Humberto; Universidad Santo TomásThe chapter establishes the context and relevance of the study on the "Impact of Pedagogical Leadership Training in Peace Education" at the Agricultural Technical Institute (I.T.A.). It highlights the importance of pedagogical leadership to promote a culture of peace and improve educational quality, addressing insufficient teacher training in this area. This affects the implementation of effective pedagogical strategies and limits teachers' ability to manage inclusive and participatory classrooms. A research question is presented: How can a pedagogical leadership training program strengthen teachers' competencies in the design of pedagogical strategies? and clear objectives are established, such as designing a training program that empowers teachers and improves their educational practice. The chapter includes background information that highlights the evolution of educational leadership towards more flexible and collaborative models, highlighting the need for continuous training in rural contexts. Furthermore, the project is justified by pointing out that training in pedagogical leadership can transform educational strategies, optimize learning in critical grades (10th and 11th), and serve as a model for other rural institutions. This approach seeks to close educational gaps and foster a culture of pedagogical innovation.Ítem Desarrollo de las Competencias Comunicativas en los Estudiantes Universitarios de Primer Semestre en la Carrera de Derecho(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2024) Cortés Gutiérrez, Lina Patricia; Sánchez Rueda, Humberto; Universidad Santo Tomás; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0001491489; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0002124203; https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=GOLxLYIAAAAJ&hl=es&oi=ao; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4542-8919Ítem Inteligencia Emocional y su Relación con el Liderazgo Efectivo en la Prestación del Servicio de Policía: una Mirada Desde los Programas de Formación de la Escuela de Suboficiales y Nivel Ejecutivo(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2024) Tapiero Arias, Aurora; Sanchez, Humberto; Universidad Santo Tómas; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0000069807; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9563-4748Facing increasing challenges in the provision of the service, the National Police due to the overprotection of rights and regulations that protect citizens when confronted with the police, can put the uniformed in conflict situations at a disadvantage, as there is a lack of preparation in civility as well as in values on the part of the citizenry, interactions with police officers are complicated, who require key human competencies such as empathy, leadership and emotional intelligence to adequately address these situations and avoid procedural errors. One of them is the lack of organization and planning, which makes it difficult for them to fulfill their academic duties. Furthermore, poor performance is also affected by students' demotivation and lack of interest, as well as lack of recognition and encouragement from teachers. Family and socioeconomic problems also affect their performance if they do not have a favorable learning environment at home. Last but not least, deficiencies in education and poor ability to adapt to students' needs contribute to their poor academic performance.Ítem Definición de los lineamientos para el plan de mejoramiento para la gestión, administración y seguimiento de las actividades que soportan el componente de investigación en Uniciencia extensión Bucaramanga(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2010) Piñeros Nieto, Juan Pablo; Ruiz Martínez, María Victoria; Torres Prieto, Germán; Universidad Santo TomásÍtem Comunicación interna en la División de Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad Santo Tomás de Bogotá(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2010) León Posada, Fabiola; Quiñones Bonilla, Fernando; Universidad Santo TomásÍtem Propuesta preliminar para definir los lineamientos administrativos que flexibilicen el proceso de doble titulación - estudio de caso : división de ingenierías Universidad Santo Tomás(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2010) Bobadilla Chávez, Carol Viviana; Gómez Colmenares, Myriam; Norato Sierra, Luz Yolanda; Amortegui, Diana; Universidad Santo TomásÍtem El Estrés y su Afectación en el Rendimiento Académico de los Estudiantes de Primer Semestre de Derecho de la Universidad Uniciencia de Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2024) Uribe Moreno, Hernando; Sosa Chinome, Jorge Andrés; Universidad Santo Tomás; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0000070800; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0002219756; https://scholar.google.es/citations?hl=es&user=GUeFescAAAAJ; https://scholar.google.es/citations?hl=es&user=brSkW9wAAAAJ; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0182-3597; https://orcid.org/0009-0003-4186-9124This research allows an approach in the educational context to the topic of academic stress, understood by the WHO as a physiological reaction produced by negative stimuli, which generate affectations in the emotional, behavioral and cognitive fields. Various studies show that, out of every four people in the world, at least two have suffered or are suffering from some type of stress. The academic field is no exception, presenting itself at very high levels in students of various levels of studies, but especially in university students, affecting, among many other factors, their academic performance. To this end, the target population is defined as first-semester law students at Uniciencia University, in Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia, most of whom combine work and study. The research problem aims to clarify how stress may affect the academic performance of students at this higher education institution; For this, the general objective is to analyze academic stress in this context and its effects on academic performance, and from there, with three specific objectives, the following are proposed: categorize from the results, compare them with literature from second sources; and finally, the elaboration of a proposal for intervention or prevention. The background is presented from a state of the art that includes thirteen studies carried out in Spain, Latin America, Colombia, and ending with a local study that validates the instrument. The theoretical framework is developed with three concepts: stress, academic stress and academic performance. The methodological framework presents a quantitative research, with a non-experimental transversal design; the target population is male and female, aged between 18 and 30 years, in the first semester of the Law degree. As an instrument, the “SISCO” inventory is used, validated by Arturo Barraza, in Mexico (2007), used to measure the levels of academic stress, and which was validated in the city of Bucaramanga for these academic purposes.Ítem El Pensamiento Divergente Como Competencia Transversal y Permanente en Estudiantes de Décimo Semestre de Licenciatura en ERE, de la Universidad Santo Tomás, Modalidad A Distancia(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2024) Uribe Moreno, Eleázar; Sosa Chinome, Jorge Andrés; Universidad Santo Tomás; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0000070800; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0002145442; https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=es&user=GUeFescAAAAJ; https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=es&user=Dtg2sDAAAAAJ; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0182-3597; https://orcid.org/0009-0002-2084-0405Creativity, as a competence for academic environments, permeates various human-educational dimensions. For its part, Divergent Thinking is understood as the creative capacity for problem solving. In this aspect, such thinking underlies, in a transversal way, not only a comprehensive formation, but also transcends the professional and daily life of the teacher in formation. In this context, the present research provides recurrent elements, such as spiritual intelligence, comparable to Divergent Thinking, specifically, in the scenario of the ERE, undergraduate degree offered by the Santo Tomás University, in Distance learning mode. The general research object infers the examination of the relevance and applicability of Divergent Thinking as a transversal and permanent competence, evidenced in the aforementioned population, in its tenth semester students. As specific actions, the identification of qualitative data on problematization; the conceptual deconstruction of the relationship between comprehensive formation and the concept of Divergent Thinking; and, finally, the inference of comprehensive, pedagogical and curricular strategies applicable to the aforementioned academic spaces. Regarding the theoretical apparatus, the aforementioned antecedents (10 international and 2 national), gather general concepts, such as Divergent Thinking, Transversal Competence, Teacher formation, and ERE; from which, the main and emerging categories are proposed. From this approach, the methodological framework is outlined; namely, a qualitative approach, with a non-experimental design, of a descriptive-exploratory type, of a socio-critical epistemological paradigm, where action-research is encouraged. From the sampling, the non-probabilistic method is implemented. The data collection instruments refer to the descriptive systematic literary reviews of the institutional literature and public records of the MEN; and, for the population sample, a qualitative survey of open questions. For data tabulation, the use of the Microsoft Office Excel tool is planned, and for processing, the Atlas ti software is implemented.Ítem Proyecto de Prevención del Consumo de Sustancias Psicoactivas en el Grado 11 de la Institución Educativa PIO Xll en el Municipio de Corozal, del Departamento de Sucre Entre el Año 2023-2025.(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2024) Meza Martínez, Andrea Carolina; Sosa Chinome, Jorgue Andrés; Universidad Santo Tomás.; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0000070800; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0001997659; https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=GUeFescAAAAJ&hl=es&oi=ao; https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=es&user=XF4ULpcAAAAJ; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0182-3597; https://orcid.org/0009-0005-9770-7647This research proposal seeks to implement a prevention project to avoid the consumption of psychoactive substances, specifically alcohol and drugs, among 11th grade students of the PIO Xll Educational Institution, with the social context in which the students develop being the main factor of risk, since the majority of them live in vulnerable neighborhoods where the consumption of this type of substances harmful to health is normalized, another factor is the constant changes that students are experiencing as they go from adolescents to young people who will acquire greater responsibility upon finishing high school. The sample for this proposal was made up of a total of 10 students, 4 parents and 3 teachers chosen at random to answer an interview in order to determine the main causes that lead them to consumption. Within this proposal, the benefits of the implementation of the proposal are presented, because if the problem is not addressed in time, it can cause harmful damage to the physical and mental health of students, and in worse terms cause students abandon their academic training. Addressing this problem from different contexts such as family, social and institutional will allow better results to be obtained, and to prevent young people from having an addiction and therefore losing their personal integrity in time. Finally, some recommendations are presented to be taken into account by the educational establishment, both teachers, administrators and parents, to create a support network that has the necessary professionals and prevent the consumption of SPA, at any time in their lives.Ítem El bullying escolar y su impacto en el desarrollo socioemocional en los estudiantes del grado 10°2 de la I.E San Juan Bautista de la Salle en el municipio de Sincé- departamento de Sucre(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2024-08-03) De la Ossa Aguas, Laura Vanesa; Sosa Chinome, Jorge Andrés; Universidad Santo Tomás; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0000070800; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0001994221; https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=es&user=GUeFescAAAAJ; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0182-3597In the research work carried out, school bullying and the influence it has on the socio-emotional development of students are revealed. This type of bullying involves physical, verbal, and psychological abuse; These are the most common ones that occur in the classroom with 10th grade 2 students, from the San Juan Bautista de la Salle Educational Institution, in the municipality of Sincé, department of Sucre. Thus, a study of this problem is carried out to know what the causes of this type of aggressive and unpleasant behavior in the educational community have been. For this reason, a problem question is proposed that answers the social phenomenon that is increasing every day, at the same time objectives and a type of research with a qualitative approach are proposed to achieve what is proposed and provide possible solutions to this. problem that affects the school environment. Likewise, this research shows the importance of working on these problems in institutions, therefore, bullying has negative and harmful effects on mental health, self-esteem, academic performance, and social and emotional relationships. Likewise, the study is supported by research that supports the findings of bullying, with significant contributions that strengthen this research. For this work to have greater viability, the socio-constructivist educational theory was chosen, which enables the transformation of the reality of the participants. Likewise, it has a type of action research that allows us to understand the situation of the study population. Accordingly, the ethnographic design is chosen, which investigates the behaviors and lived experiences of people. Finally, the population is selected, which in turn allows the sample to be taken with six students between the ages of 14 and 16, three parents and two teachers; According to this, the instrument is designed (semi-structured interview). This instrument will facilitate the analysis of the causes and consequences of school bullying in the San Juan Bautista de la Salle educational institution and how it has affected the student population. In this way, the conclusion is made regarding everything done, at the same time several recommendations are left regarding the problem that favor socio-emotional development, family relationships and communications, which at the same time are proposals for intervention, prevention, repair and eradication of school bullying.Ítem Impacto del Conflicto Armado en la Construcción y Desarrollo del Proyecto de Vida de los Adolescentes de los Grados Noveno y Décimo de la Institución Educativa Monseñor Díaz Plata del municipio El Tarra, Norte de Santander(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2024-07) Galvis Sánchez, Eligio José; Prado Villamizar, Wilmer Hernando; Vargas Rodríguez, German Ronaldo; Universidad Santo Tomás; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0000494780; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0002147200; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9100-9745Ítem Convergencia Entre el Egresado de la Licenciatura en Biología con Énfasis en Educación Ambiental de la USTA y su Praxis Profesional en el Siglo XXI(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2024-04-11) Ávila Perilla, Geovanny Manuel; Sánchez Rueda, Humberto; Universidad Santo Tomás; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0001491489; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0001846824; https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=es&user=GOLxLYIAAAAJ; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4542-8919Ítem Abordando el Desafío de la Deserción Escolar: Estudiantes del Grado Quinto de la Institución Agrícola San Agustín, Sipí, Chocó(Universidad Santo Tomás, 2024-01-21) Yepes-Blandón, Jonny Andrés; Arango Suarez, Edward Alberto; Vargas Rodríguez, German Rolando; Universidad Santo Tomás; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0000494780; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0001366416; https://scienti.minciencias.gov.co/cvlac/visualizador/generarCurriculoCv.do?cod_rh=0001898590; https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=es&user=VOp_TREAAAAJ; https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=es&user=AunRmI0AAAAJ; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9100-9745; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6276-5488In this work, we aim to comprehensively examine various aspects related to a research problem in its initial phase.
